The food was good HOWEVER the bathroom was absolutely vile in the men’s room. My boyfriend was texting me that he was using the actual toilet and he didn’t notice how soaked the floor was from urine that his jeans got soaked and his boxers from the floor.
I told the owner as he was in the bathroom and messaging me and he acted like he could care less saying he doesn’t know what I want him to do etc etc he said they clean the bathroom frequently but there was a lot of people in and out of there recently. He did tell somebody to go mop right away but still disgusting and our waiter was beyond slow. Couldn’t even get a refill of a soft drink.
In this economy, I expect to leave a diner and not have my partner soaked in somebody else’s piss because they couldn’t keep up with cleaning and not have snail speed service. Absolutely disgusting. 🤢

I came in late to The Edison Diner , after a Mannyhatty trip. We had about an hour left. It was dimly lit , probably 6-7 tables filled and the esthetic is very well taken care of and “ kitschy” . The host first thing let us know that the diner was closing soon .. thank you sir yes. 👏
The tables were adorable and had awesome curated Menus as seen in my photos. The food was the best part. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger with mayo and ketchup and it had bacon which was possibly the BEST bacon on that side of Jersey!! I don’t know how they cooked it but it tasted like how Korean pork belly tastes lol. My partner ordered the Eggs Benny and he found them to be a bit watery and I had to agree but overall we were both pleased.
The 3/5 Stars ⭐️ comes from me ordering the desserts and the insane amount of money that was and I am 99% sure the host kept a $1 which was so weird in itself , had I addressed this -it surly would’ve just invited drama I wasn’t in the mood for . AND you could just tell from his demeanor he’s “ like that “ . I didn’t say anything because his personality reeked of male toxicity. I apologize truly because the food and ambiance was darling. Service was just okay.
I don’t love places that only have male servers and as soon as I come in I am told I get have an hour left .. all “ no nos” in my book. I as usual over tipped and bought something local and was overcharged so I believe everyone involved deserves a fair assessment. The desserts were amazing btw and clearly homemade.
Were they work $19 ? 4 desserts . UM . It’s so hard now to say. I am being brain washed. I felt it was overpriced and no deal was weird 5 for $20. Something to make me think at minimum I wasn’t being shaken down.
Anywho if you’re feeling like having an amazing burger. Yes yes come here. All the other stuff mentioned is just a “ this happened too.
Vegetarian options: Decent parking. Houses across the street. Very cute.
Parking: Getting there wasn’t fun. Like if North Jersey Highway Nonsense

This place is your classic dine, casual atmosphere, friendly service, and all the usual staples you’d expect. What sets it apart is a few unique menu options you don’t typically see at a diner. I was excited to find an Irish breakfast on the menu, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark. The beans were BBQ-style rather than traditional breakfast beans, the sausage wasn’t what I was expecting, and there were a lot of onions, which isn’t typical for an Irish breakfast. That said, the rest of the menu looked solid, and it’s still a good spot for a classic diner meal.

Place seems clean staff was friendly the food I had ordered tasted ok but I was a little unhappy about the size of the my omelette given the cost and seeing the serving size of so many other meals ….too little overall and no wow factor if your going to serve less then use better ingredients when it comes to what you put in the food it didn’t say I need to come back here to me $20 for a meat lovers omelette with two kinds of frozen meat. Ehhh

Service was bad today. Waiting for coffee so long our food got cold. To many tables per server. They also pass their credit card fee onto you here. They should absorb that and thank you for coming.
The food was very overpriced. Had a buffalo chicken wrap with fries, just water to drink. The bill came to $24.00! She charged me extra for tomato on the wrap. Chicken was grilled instead of fried and no buffalo sauce. It had tobasco sauce which tasted terrible. Never coming here again.

Cheeseburger, fallfa with veggies and filet of fish sandwich 3onion soup crocks we each had cpl iced teas/ sodas& a curly cheese fries the bill came it was. 131.00. Without tip are they frigging insane listen Iam not cheap. By any means but don’t rip me off charging restaurant prices in shanty diner & food not to expectation! They will never see me again! Good by Edison diner maybe one day I’ll return when you stop ripping off the public .
