First time posting. Stopped by at vasanth bhavan enroute to Princeton. Definitely could have chosen a better restaurant in Edison. The place is like a take out place with a few tables for sitting. Very loud.
Service was good but the food was not good. The korumbh was stale, the batter for the uttapam was too sour, not enough salt in anything. Look elsewhere for south Indian.

This place has deteriorated from 5 star to 3 star in a year. Sambar was mediocre, chutneys were cold directly from the fridge, kurma recipe has been changed and doesn't taste good anymore. The floors were sticky and the only saving grace was the service. For a short period I thought a challenger to A2B had emerged, but disappointing that Vasantha Bhavan quality has rapidly deteriorated...
