This place has deteriorated from 5 star to 3 star in a year. Sambar was mediocre, chutneys were cold directly from the fridge, kurma recipe has been changed and doesn't taste good anymore. The floors were sticky and the only saving grace was the service. For a short period I thought a challenger to A2B had emerged, but disappointing that Vasantha Bhavan quality has rapidly deteriorated...

Loved the food as well as the friendly service. We ordered dosas, vada sambar, mango lassi, filter coffee, samosas. Everything was quite tasty. The tomato chutney that came with the dosas was too good. And as a surprise, we were offered pineapple moong dal halwa..on the occasion of my daughter's birthday, & needless to say...that it too tasted great.
