I’ve been playing Pomona for about 3.5 years now and it was always a fun place to go get a quick 9 and mess around with my buddies. But after joining the club and being a member for about a month now, I can truly see why this place is so great. The place doesn’t have the greatest conditions but it definitely is a “get what you pay for” course.The staff is always so kind and friendly. Bruce, one of the owners is the absolute man and he’s always due to make me laugh every time I check in for my tee time.Great discounts offered for veterans and students. If you walk they let you stay out there and play as many holes as you can until it gets too dark which is awesome. Great spot for a quick twilight round and don’t overthink the place only having 9 holes because they aren’t easy

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a golf course. I’ve gone here multiple times. I will never come back here. More clovers than grass, cart paths run through the fairways. Owners have a pretentious attitude and will talk behind your back about you with other golfers. Extremely unprofessional.

I played while visiting from out of town, and wanted to share my experience since it was better than some other reviews have mentioned. Checking in was a little confusing since you have to pay at the bar (with cash), but no big deal. The staff was helpful and friendly enough. The carts were decent; better than most 9 hole executive courses I've played. The fairways were mostly something other than grass, but were short and playable. The greens were in decent shape, and a little slower than I'm used to, but also playable, and better than many courses of this type. Overall, it was a nice, laid back experience, and I think it's very fair at $25 for 9 holes riding. The $100 membership seems like a great deal. Wish I had something similar in my area!

Rude customer service, bad pricing, bad conditions and the lady kicked us out and didn’t give us a raincheck after it rained for just a mere 10 minutes on our first hole, but she gave raincheck to golfers who golfed nearly whole rounds. She actually drove out to the green in her car to kick us out. I’ll never come back. Don’t go here. Boycott this course with all your friends. These people are not deserving of running a golf course.

I was a member here 35 years ago. I went back just to see what the place looked like basically the same I had a hole in one plaque and it was still on the wall that was awesome.

Not a bad course for a quick round. You need to know they don't take credit cards, but they do have an ATM. Also, the bar is only for members so you can't buy alcohol if you're not a member. There are only 1 set of tee boxes, the greens are small but in decent shape.

Went here April of 2023. I've had issues here in the past with old, rude staff who treat younger customers terrible. I was told at 6:30 stop golfing and bring the cart back. So at 6:24 we finish a whole and are packing up our stuff. I have a woman driving over to us in a golf cart yelling "hey guys it's 6:30 I told you 6:30 you had to bring the cart back". It's 6:25 now at this point, as a grown man I can tell time... So I say "it's 6:25 , my phone says I have five minutes. " She proceeds to ask me why I was so rude... When I asked to play nine wholes your comment was " you better be back by 6:30" I've been golfing here for 5 years, I'll never go back. Save your money and spend a few dollars more for green tree, twisted dunes or Renault. A bit pricier but worth it. In five years this place won't be in business for how they treat their younger customers. It's a shame for a nice small course it's worth the price but not for what you have to deal with. Such a shame. They shouldn't have rude people working here, I asked how her day was today and she said "eh it's a day" cheer up lady.Happy golfing

Great time. Great place took family there and we had plenty of time to negotiate each hole.
It was kinda getto , counter woman ripped us off because she was doing multiple things and a guy cut in as she was helping us and short changed us 10 bucks and when we told her she gave us attitude and was frantic and at this point I said f it this place needs all the money it can get !The golf course was confusing and grass was messy . At the last hole some guy tried fighting with us when he was two holes down when we were just finishing up and he was screaming what you guys doing ! I ignored him and said we are done and drove off in the golf cart . Definitely will not be returning , lived near this place my whole life and always felt it was getto and thought it would be better after being remodeled by restaurant impossible but I guess they didn’t listen to his advice cause menu was nothing special . Overall It’s a good golf course if you wanna be single out and bored and don’t wanna pay a lot of money for a good golf course . The staff was nice compare to the counter woman and people who golf there .

I made my first visit to Pomona and was really impressed. First off, I misread the site and thought that I didn’t need a tee time. However the very friendly hostess fit me in without a problem. After I warmed up with a small bucket, I played a very enjoyable 9 holes. I found the course a good challenge and well maintained. All in all, the outing cost $21, which is a hard deal to beat. Good time and I will be back.

The two owners don’t know the meaning of customer service. They clearly have a “cart” problem. Always want them back at a certain time.. maybe invest in more like all other courses do to resolve this issue. Paying customer get treated like garbage, getting yelled at to move while standing in front of the clubhouse and yelled at while putting on 18 after never being told the carts had to be back at a certain time. Been going here since i was 10 and won’t be going back again. They lost a 22 year long customer today. If i could rate this 0 stars i would.
