After finding these ladies at a bridal show at Sweet Water and tasting their cupcakes we knew we absolutely needed to have them make our cake for our wedding! We had a few dozen cupcakes for our guests to choose from, and they all raved about the different flavors! There was something for everyone! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful as well! We can’t say enough great things about these cakes!

Was only in town to pick up paperwork and just so happened to drive past and saw the store, soooooo very glad we stopped in. As soon and we walked in, it smelled heavenly!!! Bought a dozen cupcakes to bring back home and oh my goodness so glad we did!! Cupcakes tasted AMAZING!!!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY take the drive back just for their cupcakes!

BRIDES BEWARE!- As a part of my Wedding Venue with Sweetwater Riverview last week end, Simply Sweet was the vendor who was tasked by Sweetwater with doing my wedding cake. The cake tasting was awful- the cupcakes themselves were great- but the lady was extremely abrasive and very matter of fact that she would not do the cake I had a picture of. and was also very rude about it. Between my best friend, fiancé & I while sitting with her, we agreed on an alternate cake type that would suffice- the cake would be 3 tiers- 8" each, vanilla buttercream- almond with raspberry filling and chocolate with raspberry filling, the middle layer would be smooth with a monogram of W on it and shimmery buttercream was advised by simply sweet ,my special request to have a small replica of our dog eating the bottom of the cake was approved by Simply Sweet. The other 2 layers would be vanilla buttercream with small swirls around it and fake flowers cascading down all 3 layers. 1 week prior I assembled everything and went to Simply Sweet- again the woman was completely abrasive- I dropped off the flowers and dog and she was barely keeping my wedding date straight. She had it for the week after- not very confidence inspiring. I asked her if she needed anything else and she said no. The DAY OF OUR WEDDING the cake was delivered and set up- I did not have any time to view it prior to seeing it with our guests for the first time.
I was so very disappointed- they only had the dog standing over to the side NOT eating the cake- the cake was NOT buttercream but some rubbery stuff instead- there was NO monogram of a W for the middle layer - NO shimmery frosting as promised- there was barely ANY raspberry filling between the layers AND to boot the Almond flavor was completely overpowering and NOT as it was during our cake tasting. The cake itself was so dry. My wedding day cannot be redone and the cake was absolutely horrible NO ONE at my 90+ guest venue liked the cake in the least and it all went into the trash. Everyone asked me where I had my cake done and I was honest and told them who made it- I'll bet that simply sweet lost quite a few customers that day- they definitely screwed ME on my wedding day and falsely advertised something that they obviously could not deliver- maybe they ought to get out of the cake business and stick with cupcakes only.

I drove from Manahawkin to Egg Harbor City to try these Cupcakes. It was worth the drive. They were fresh and tasty. Even the next Day they were fresh. My husband had two for breakfast. He loved them also. He's hard to please when it comes to Cupcakes. He usually doesn't like them. Now we're arguing over the last one LOL Gina they're the best. See you soon.

Was looking for a bakery and saw that Simply Sweet was open today - Wednesday July 10th, so I head over and it’s closed!! Why do you have hours that aren’t true! Wasted ride and not professional! This is the second time this has happened.

I have been going here for years. They have some of the most delicious cupcakes you can think of. I picked up a 6 pack.Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry lemonade, PMS, Canoli, Funfeti, and an ice cream Sunday... I ? think.

Simply Sweet is just that - simply sweet. The cupcakes are amazing and the varieties made choosing our wedding cake / cup cake tower difficult, but boy did they deliver! Our guests loved every bite!
