Despite the exterior, the restaurant shines with friendly service, tasty food, and prompt service. The single slices are enormous and were a hit with one customer's future mother-in-law. The manicotti was well-prepared, but the red sauce was criticized for lacking flavor and seeming like it came straight from a jar. On the other hand, the meatball sub lunch special received high praise for its fresh bread, delicious sauce, and excellent meatballs. The owners are involved in the business, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Some construction noise from the mall may be heard, but it does not detract from the overall positive experience.
