Vive Bene Italian Restaurant

Such a disappointment. This restaurant has a five star rating, but it was the worst pasta we ever had. Canned SpaghettiOs tastes better. We were seated right near the front door with people going in and out and we said that we didn’t want to be cold. The staff said you won’t be cold and of course we were cold all night. Also, the Caesar salad is made with croutons that have sesame seeds all over them. It really took away from the taste, and the salad was just average. We were very disappointed that we selected this restaurant for a special evening, Christmas Eve. We will never go back.

My Salon had our Christmas party at Vive Bene. The ambience was beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was the best we have ever experienced and we’ve been doing this for 14 years. thank you guys for a wonderful night.

I have visited for both dinner and brunch. The restaurant has a very warm atmosphere and the attention from the staff is excellent. Every meal has been delicious, and much better than your average Italian restaurant in the area. This is a wonderful addition to the south Jersey community.

Delicious and authentic! Love it!

We arrived early so we sat at the bar which isn't very big plus the restaurant downstairs is very small and crowded. Upstairs was closed do to a private event. We were told by the bar tender we could not sit at half the bar because it was reserved?!!! There is not any place to stand and wait for ur table. There were 4 of us and only allowed 2 chairs. So the men had to stand against the wall to be out of the way of the waiters carrying food. Cause as I said it's very confined. We finally sat and ordered calamari which looked like it was the last of the batch. Greasy and tough. Our main mails were delicious. They are very expensive. $35 for chicken parm. I would have liked to have eaten upstairs if I would have known it was closed we would have never went. And reserving the bar is just ridiculous especially when u have ppl waiting for their tables and would like to have a cocktail while they wait

Went for dinner on a Friday night in November. It was very busy. We were seated upstairs adjacent to the piano player. I was a little apprehensive about how we could converse sitting next to the piano, but he played at a very low volume, which was perfect! The service was extremely professional, prompt and courteous. We recognized the bartender and the food runner from other restaurants in the area that are now closed, which was nice because we knew them to be excellent. All of the dishes on the menu are in Italiano, so if you are not familiar with the various pastas, etc., you might want to study the menu in advance. The drinks were superb. The Pappardelle al Bolognese was excellent, as was the Pollo Parmigiana Croccante. The desserts were excellent, also. Although the menu and website state there is a 3% fee for using a credit card, it was not charged. You might want to bring your debit card, just in case. The prices are a bit higher than you might expect in this area, but they provide a very high end experience. I definitely recommend!
