My husband and I just attempted to have lunch at the Elmer diner. We are met with a very… Eccentric waitress, who seemed to be buzzing off of something. She brought out my French onion soup and said sorry we have a problem all of your food is done already (waffle, order or bacon, chicken gyro), I requested she bring out my husband‘s food and hold mine as I hadn’t even started my soup. 10 minutes later, she brought my food out lettuce was warm. Onions were warm and tzatziki sauce was warm. When I told her my food was not to the quality anyone would eat she just said OK and took my plate, she did not offer me a second option or apologize for her negligence. She then proceeded to berate my husband attempting to “explain “what happens to the point we wanted to leave immediately. Poor service, not sure what happened to this place.

Clean as can be. Typical huge diner menu! Food prepared exactly as ordered. Owner very involved, so things run smoothly. A nice small town place with reasonable prices and portions. Lots of parking, easy access right off Rt 40
Never again will I deal with such rudeness from the owner as we went to pay. The man takes the change and slaps it on the counter in front of the hand that was out, the same hand that handed him the money, extremely rude, ignorant, and cocky is what I call that kind of action never again will I deal with this the place sucks and so does the owner and I hope to God he reads this

very disappointed in the service I received very rude as well as the food I got It was expensive and the food was horrible the two times I have been and ordered to go waisted money couldn't eat it both times

Oh my GOODNESS! This place is amazing! We ordered the turkey BBQ melt and French onion soup. Wow! Both were so flavorful. The fries were piping hot and PERFECTLY crispy outside/soft inside. To top it all off our waitress, Mia, was terrific!! Sure wish we lived close enough to be regulars . . . ?
