I'm basing this review on the group we brought. The banana split, chocolate scoop cone, vanilla scoop cone, the cones with sprinkles and other cones and drinks were delicious... especially on a humid night. The outdoor seating was comfortable and made for great conversations.
By far the best ice cream place on the planet. Been all over the world and still talk about this shop. Whenever I have the pleasure of visiting Elmer in New Jersey, this is on my list- usually twice a day. EPIC ice cream - the swirly kind (haven’t tried the tub kind yet). The truth is, it’s bloody perfect every single time and the staff are super friendly.
The one thing we didn't get to do during our Lewes/Cape May trip was get ice cream. When we saw this place on our way home, I knew it was fate! I had a hot fudge sundae, my mom had the brownie sundae, and the kids each had a cone. They were very generous with the napkins (Thank you!) and I like that they had a "baby" cone option. The only thing that could have improved our experience is if they had some kind of bathroom!
