LOVE the Emerson Hotel Restaurant! I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it continues to be one of my favorite places to go out for dinner. The staff, including Stacey in the bar, are awesome. Super friendly… very attentive… food is great and a good value in today’s crazy times.
Kid-friendliness: Bring the family… bring the team after a game. Super friendly, family style restaurant!

Stacey, the bartender & waitress, is phenomenal ! Being frequent patrons, she always has our drinks ready for us & we never have to ask for refills…she’s always there taking care of us & taking care of our table…she’s an exceptional asset to the Emerson Hotel family! Brian, the other bartender , is awesome also ! Such a pleasure being served by such great people!

Had the classic sandwich nowhere near as good as it used to be. Bread was super thin and hard butter was totally clear so disappointed I did not finish

Stacy and Brian are literally THE BEST. This place is a hidden gem. If you want a nightcap in a quiet clean place with the best people, this is the place. I'm also hesitant writing this because I want to keep this place to myself ?

Stacy and Brian are great bartenders who provide great service and conversation while you are there. Prices are reasonable for drinks. If you’re in the area, it is worth a go, especially if you play at the golf course nearby.

Our salad was good, even though it was a bit spicy and too much dressing. The price of 2 salads with chicken and 2 soft drinks, came to $53.00 and change! I think that’s outrageous for a lunch meal for 2 people!!

Flat beer taps are such a turnoff for us. Outdoor patio area is great but the owner needs to staff more servers. Our super-friendly server was way too busy and trying so hard to please the entire patio area but it was too much to handle for her. Food was decent. But stay away from the beer taps! Bottled beer choices offer no crafts. We prob won't be back unless we can sneak our own beer in lol. Also, they charge a credit card fee but it is not posted anywhere on the bill until they run the card. This should be illegal.

It's a divey but has great character barmaid was lovely.
The "famous" sliced steak platter was awful. Ordered med well, came with some parts rara some parts well. All flavorless. Salad and onion rings (up charge for rings) was the best part of the meal. Will not be back, so many restaurants in Bergen county, won't miss Emerson hotel.

They never have what I want. The prime rib. Always out of it.
