At around 2:00 p.m. today, I ordered a spinach feta wrap but was given a chicken wrap instead. I went back to the counter to let the woman at the register (asian with glasses), who appeared to be the manager, know about the mistake. She scoffed at me, turned away, and corrected the order. When my food finished warming up, she threw it across the counter toward me. When I confronted her about it, she denied throwing my food. Overall, the interaction was disappointing and unprofessional.

I ordered a Coffee Traveler, but when I picked it up, it felt too light. So I opened the lid and found that it was only about half full. I complained that it was too empty, but they said that's how it's supposed to be. And their attitude was terrible. I order Coffee Travelers from other Starbucks locations almost every week, and I've never had this happen before. If this is how they're going to be, they shouldn't even be selling Coffee Travelers.

Disappointing experience at the Starbucks in Emerson. I ordered a small iced tea, waited 5 minutes, even though there was no one inside and only three cars in the drive-thru. I walked over to the barista (standing in line and just feet from the register) to politely say that I had ordered a small iced tea but wanted to upgrade to a medium, and asked if she could hold off on making it so I didn’t waste time or product. Instead of acknowledging that, she grabbed my ticket, made the drink anyway, and then told me to “just wait in line and let someone know.” Her tone was nasty and condescending, as if I was inconveniencing her by trying to communicate clearly. She even told me to “stand closer to the register,” which was unnecessary and rude …. I was already right there. The entire establishment is 4x4 so it’s not like there’s a lot of room to run free. Customer service matters, and this barista was short tempered, dismissive, and unprofessional. If you’re that irritated by basic customer interaction, customer service might not be the right role. I usually expect better from Starbucks especially when they aren’t that busy.

I just went there this afternoon and the man that was working. They decided to reprimand me loudly several times. They are overworked there and don't have enough staff. He continuously tried to embarrass me and reprimand me because I asked him where my coffee order was. We won't be going there again. We made the mistake of mobile ordering and 20 cars must've went by in the drive-through if not more and I asked where our order was, it wasn't even started for a mobile order. Horrible experience.

I love this Starbucks! The staff is prompt but also kind and friendly. I have a toddler and more then once when ordering inside they have come around the counter to bring my drinks to my table so I don’t have to get up and try to balance them plus chase my baby around simultaneously. The cashier has given my daughter (with my permission) a cake pop numerous times to her great delight! I have nothing but good things to say about the people who keep this place going! The inside is clean and welcoming, the drive thru is speedy and the coffee is always hot and served just right!

I came into this location and I understand people don’t want to get out their car and the drive thru line is long and all the mobile orders coming in but do not ignore a customer that takes the time to actually come inside to place an order. Why should anyone have to wait for almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged and taken care of

I must admit that this is one of the best Starbucks I've ever visited and I've been to quite a lot. The staff is amazing with theirs services and the Store Manager, Mr. Rupak, is an absolute class act. Please keep up the great work guys.

I usually come to this Starbucks drive-thru once or twice a week. Today I placed my usual order, which came to $19.30, and tried to pay with a $100 bill. And 30 cents . The cashier told me she didn’t have change and asked if I had a card. When I said no, and this was true did nor bring a card . she just gave me a look and made no effort to help me find a solution. I ended up having to leave with my 2-year-old crying because I couldn’t get him the croissant he was looking forward to. Very disappointing experience — especially as a loyal customer, it completely ruined our afternoon.

This is an absolutely amazing store. The staff and service are outstanding. The existing store manager has completely changed the vibe to an upbeat, pleasant experience as I start my day !!
Cheers !!

A Starbucks Experience We’ll Never Forget
My fiancé and I visited this Starbucks in Emerson, NJ on a particularly difficult day after receiving some heartbreaking news. We stopped in hoping to decompress over a couple of drinks, and what we received was something truly unexpected — kindness, compassion, and humanity.
We ordered two tall drinks and found a quiet table at the back of the store. Within moments, the store manager, Rupak, kindly upgraded our drinks to grandes, brought them to our table with napkins, and even returned 10 minutes later with two venti waters and more napkins. He didn’t say much — he didn’t need to. He had clearly noticed how upset we were, and his quiet gesture of support meant more than words ever could.
As we were leaving, I offered him a tip as a thank you, but he humbly declined, saying that this Starbucks is his “second home” and that he believes in serving the community. He told us that if we ever come back, he’d take care of us — and then sent us off with two free cake pops and another venti water for the road.
We live over two hours away, but we left with full hearts, reminded that even in the toughest moments, there are still people in the world who truly care. Rupak didn’t just serve coffee — he showed compassion, and he made our day better in a way we will never forget.
Thank you, Rupak, for being the kind of person who restores faith in humanity. This world needs more people like you.

Took so long to get a single refresher drink. I actually spent less time driving to and from than I did waiting on my drink. And I live in NY! Mind you this was 4:30 on a Saturday not even an early morning weekday with commuters

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Starbucks, especially to Manager Rupak, whose kindness knows no bounds. His dedication to this store and its customers is truly inspiring. The staff take immense pride in their craft, consistently creating magical drinks that delight everyone.
Thank you ☕
