I ordered my son a cheeseburger kids meal and clearly requested to not put any (ketchup)condiments on the burger specifically because he's allergic to tomatoes which is ketchup. How about they did the total opposite and put ketchup on it, it was a good thing that I got caught at the light due to a train passing unless I would have went all the way back home in paramus to be more furious. I made a u turn and came back inside and tell them that I requested no ketchup and its ketchup on here my son is allergic, the young lady takes it to the back and tell them she said no ketchup and she returned to say they're making another burger, asked me if I wanted the burger, I said no why would I take the burger if he's allergic to ketchup and she said you can have it for yourself, I said its okay I don't eat meat....

First time here and everything was delicious! I got the classic burger, fries, and Oreo shake (w/o whip cream). Everything was so tasty. I will definitely be back soon to try the pizza! Also, the service was so welcoming & sweet.
This place is awesome! The burgers and chicken sandwiches are off the charts amazing. Then, we tried the pizza and that is terrific as well. The staff is very nice and helpful and the restaurant is really clean and comfortable. Our family and friends are so excited that Wayback is now in Emerson! I can’t wait to go back!

The burgers are just okay. A bit tasteless, but tender (grilled style, not charred). The bourbon mustard doesn't taste good IMO, and they gave me probably about a coin's sized amount on both sides. I would think that when the burger's selling point is the sauce (it's literally the only distinctive that sets it apart from the other burger), they'd give you a decent amount to taste.
The service was very slow. I think there was just one person ahead of me, waiting around. Two bags came out for a doordasher. I think I waited 15 minutes and all I ordered was that burger.
The bacon was NOT crispy - I hate that. Who wants to tear into a rubbery fatty piece of bacon? literally the whole piece.
The atmosphere... it's in the old Boston Market in Emerson so you can imagine the square footage. It's a typical modern style eat-in place. Seems clean. They have 2 kiosks set up to order from or the person at the front can take your order (but when I was there, he was barely at the front and mostly in the kitchen... a doordasher who got a partial order had been calling him but no one came for a good while). The kitchen seemed small, and I think there were only 2 guys working it.
The burger wasn't horrible but it wasn't good enough for me to spend my money there, not to mention the experience.

I think they have some kinks to work out. The burgers are good. I don’t like the constant changing menu on the wall. Salads are pricey. But the one thing that stands out is the service from Santana! A young man from town with a great work ethic, excellent customer services Truly a sweet kid! (I’m old) I would go back just to say hi and try the pizza :)
