Allora Reviews
Lots of Italian restaurants in South Jersey, but Allora stands out. The fact that it is combined with Nene has taken it to another level with the ability to order woodfired pizzas and have a really bright open beautiful dining experience. First you are given bread that comes out of that wood fire oven, some with tomato sauce on them and served with their homemade basil aïoli. We have tried multiple appetizers over the years and all of them are delicious, we try our hardest not...read full review
I had my daughters baby shower here. I will never have another event here. I had given them a number of 35 guests, which is required 3 weeks prior. Unfortunately, several were ill, one had a pet pass away that morning, others had to work out of town, I ended up with 23 people. I still had to pay for 35 people, was told I couldn't have the food for the number of people that couldn't attend, was told that amount goes towards the "room rent". Poor food timing, automatic 20% tip included and bathroom needed a repair and was a mess at 6pm on a Sat?!?!
Good food but expensive $240 for 3 people!
Empty at 6pm on Sat when everyone else was slammed...now I know why!

Allora is a restaurant recognized for its delicious food and excellent service. The veal and eggplant parm with homemade linguine are popular on the menu, along with the artichokes. Customers have praised the tomato sauce, Marsala sauce, and pesto. The gnocchi are some of the lightest, and dishes like the Sicilians and Carbonara come in generous portions. The restaurant can host large groups and is BYOB, with staff happy to open and serve drinks for guests. Service is consistently described as attentive and friendly, making it a good place for celebrations. The ambiance is modern and upbeat, casual but a bit hip, though noise levels can be high, especially in the current space. Servers are pleasant and resourceful, never rushing guests, even during late hours. Recent reviews mention the delicious veal San Marco and the good Nene salad. Some guests felt the table by the kitchen and bathroom was uncomfortable, feeling like they weren't even in the restaurant. Others enjoyed the well-sized portions and friendly service, though the noise at the current location is very loud, and some suggest adding sound absorption to improve comfort.
