The food was excellent. The waiter was excellent. Unfortunately, it was very loud. Most of the loudness was the table next to us with an extremely drunk man. The F bombs were flying most of the night and it was uncomfortable for myself wife and kids to be sitting next to him. I don't think it was a one off. You can just kind of tell the person. I don't blame the restaurant at all and it didn't ruin my night but some people should just stay home.
Our dinner was very good. Highly recommend Allora, make a reservation to guarantee you can get seated!!!
I wish they had the Chicken Milanese on their menu full time. It is a good local byob place.
Quite a mixed bag. Living in the area for years this was our first visit to Allora. I struggled giving a less than stellar review but it is what our experience was like. Parking wasn't difficult although half of the “public lot” seems to be taken over by the fire department. Upon entry a hostess greeted us and was friendly. With a 6pm reservation we were offered a choice of seats but most weren't in the greatest location. Our overall impression of the area we sat in, to the left of the hostess station when walking in, was overly industrial and cafeteria like. Whitish walls and very basic tables and chairs on a sealed concrete floor. No booths to create any intimacy, just tables and chairs. Many reviews note a higher noise level. That really wasn't our issue. It was a less cozy feeling interior and tables too close together. You constantly felt like you were dining with others when you didn't want to be. I get it that it's a smaller restaurant but simple fixes could rectify many of the issues. Food was pretty good but not good enough to overcome the atmosphere. Highlight was their version of mozzarella sticks. Very well done. I had been looking forward to trying the chicken parm since it is commented on in many reviews. It was good but not great. Thicker than I would like and their sauce was more the issue. Kind of tasty but definitely watery. You can see the water pool on your plate. Watery sauce equals soggy breading. My wife had the pork chop special and said it was very good. Our service was very friendly but lacked attention. Food was EXTREMELY slow coming out of the kitchen. Other diners were visibly frustrated with the cook times. I wanted to love Allora. I'm really hoping it was simply an off night.
Menu, ambience and food were all better in the old location. Entrees came out several minutes apart, which wasn't great. Had to ask multiple times for extra glasses and water. Those waiting for a table were too close to diners. Parking was difficult.
Good food but way to loud inside

Love the food and service here but it is very noisy. Nothing to absorb the sound. Had to shout at the other people in our party to be heard. Not planning on going back unless they come up with something to quite the place down.

We love the new location . Food was great and very tasty. Our server Steve was exceptional.
Great experience again at this local BYOB gem! Menu has a bit of everything and the specials are usually creative and well done. Home made pasta and the personal pizzas for the win!

Our first time there and everyone in our party of 6 agreed it was a great choice. We had a bunch of appetizers, salad and dinners. We thought the salads were expensive although fresh and delicious. The entrees seemed reasonably priced compared to similar type restaurants - everyone in our group was very happy with their meals and the portions were good. It was nice to be able to hear everyone in our party speak! We recommend this restaurant and will likely return when in the area again.
The drinks were great, the server was kind and caring always checked on us didn't feel rushed out of the restaurant the food was absolutely amazing we both got the vodka rigatoni and got the veal risotto chef's special especially the appetizers I got the mozzarella sticks and the cheesesteak egg rolls great place to spend time with my girlfriend to celebrate 5 years thank you! We were a party of 6 and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had the sausage & fig appetizer as well as the Autumn Salad special. For dinner, 2 of us had the Squid Ink pasta with shrimp, clams and crab (special) which was excellent. My husband had the pork chop which he raved about. The others enjoyed their entrees too which were chicken piccata, Short Rib & Sausage & Rigatoni. The only drawback was that the noise level made it difficult to hear one another.
All 6 dishes were very good but my pork chop should have been hotter (temperature hot) and our waitress could have been more attentive but overall, very good dinner
Great food and service. Its a medium sized dining room with hard surfaces, so it was exceptionally loud. We will Def return!
