They had nothing in the bakery but pre packaged cookies. They had nothing fresh. We bought a container of assorted cookies. They were all stale and nasty.

I don't know what took me so long to get here! She makes the BEST ricotta cheesecake I ever tasted. I also had the shamrock cookies and cannolis. They didn't last long in my house! Today I returned for more cheesecake and ended up getting cannolis and chocolate chip cookies. I'm also ordering a Rice Pie and a Ham Pie for Easter. This place is dangerous (in a good way). Maria is a sweetheart. Don't procrastinate like I did.

Wonderfully welcoming, homey feel, delicious food and friendly owners & employees. Do yourself a favor and check out Maria’s Mom’s bakery and definitely give them a follow on socials, as the husband and wife duo that run this place are charming and funny.

My first time visiting and having the maritozzi today. It was delicious! It wasn’t too sweet nor too lemony. I’m glad I got more than 1. I also got some cannolis and and it is safe to say I will go back to get them again and try other items too. Glad I found this gem. ?

Stopped by today to try the infamous maritozzi that are gaining popularity all over South Jersey. When I arrived right at 10am when they opened, there were already 10 or so people in line. Maria was very friendly and said she knew why everyone was in - to try their Maritozzi. They were individually packaged and stored in their fridge. There were only about 30 or so premade, but she said they would be making them all day. I decided to only get one to try since I didn't know how they would be. One Maritozzi was $8. It was a good size, but I thought $8 was pretty steep. It was not what I was expecting at all. It was more bread like with a filling, but not as creamy as I expected. I thought it would taste similar to a cannoli, but it didn't at all. It had good flavor, but it really wasn't as good as I thought it would be. At the $8 price I wouldn't go back for more. I would go back to this bakery to try other items since everything is made daily and looked great!

My first visit today. Maria greeted me and was very helpful in finding the treats I was looking for. Anisset and cookies were excellent. Will be returning. Thank you, Maria.

It’s ten minutes to 5 and they’re gone. Why bother if you can’t stay open the hours you committed to?

I can't add anything to what's been said so I'll diverge a bit. Of course, we love the place. Maria's parents were our OCNJ neighbors and we met Maria's Mom helping Maria man the booth at the Spring Block Party. The place was stripped bare within the first hour. So I said to myself, self, there must be something here! I have never been disappointed with an order and love everything they offer. I am a biscotti aficionado, but the cannoli are to-die-for. The shells remain dry and crunchy and the filling takes me to 9th Street South Philly, 'way back in the 80s. I love all the biscotti but the Tollers LOVE the lemon version. I've got to try her sfogliatelle which MUST be eaten, with demitasse, while watching a Sopranos episode. We've been going to Maria's Mom for years and the quality NEVER changes. Also, the desserts are not loaded with sugar - sweet enough but VERY traditional. I've found that bringing a box of Maria's biscotti to my friends at Palma Automotive has them telling me many secrets about how to REALLY fix these cars. Maria's Mom's is a superb experience, and if she ever puts in a gelato bar, that's it, it's Ozempic time.

Wanted to get my mom a cannoli cake for her birthday (she loves cannolis’). I gave Marias short notice and was hoping they would be able to do it. They definitely did it and my mom LOVED it!!! I am so appreciative of Maria’s Mom’s!! I will definitely be going back
