Summary: The food and service were excellent, but significant issues with food safety and hygiene in the kitchen are cause for concern.

We were immediately greeted by a very nice young lady upon entering, and our bagels were brought out quickly. The bagels themselves were excellent and very satisfying.

However, I had the misfortune of facing the kitchen area while I ate, and the practices I observed were very worrisome.

Observed Hygiene Issues:

Eating Over Prep Area: I watched a staff member eating directly over the food preparation table.

Glove Misuse (Cross-Contamination): One staff member was wearing a single glove, which was used interchangeably to prepare food (bagel sandwiches), stock shelves, and sweep the floor. The glove was never changed, representing serious cross-contamination risk.

Ungloved Food Prep: Multiple staff members were preparing food without gloves.

Front-of-House Handling: The otherwise lovely girl who greeted and served us was repeatedly playing with her hair before handling and touching the rims of several clean coffee cups.

Bottom Line: The food tastes good, and the service is friendly and fast, but the lack of basic food safety practices in the kitchen is highly concerning. I would recommend the establishment address these hygiene practices immediately.

You had the best bagels. We didn't even mind when you recently raised your prices. But now you must've also changed your recipe and the bagels have no taste. Will try one more time as maybe this is just an experiment and then move on.

This was a bullshit, lettuce and tomato
. They gave me half a slice of tomato and one slice of bacon on this tiny bagel 😂 I had to go home and remake the sandwich with my own items

Chloe was such a nice respectful employee and made sure to spread my cream cheese evenly. She truly deserves a raise.

I ordered a jalapeno cheddar bagel and was given a plain bagel when I received my order. The young lady on the phone was rude and inconsiderate I’m pregnant and hungry :(

Very unsanitary. We watched several workers touch everything with their gloves and use the same gloves to prep the food. Multiple workers went on their phones with gloves on, one even SCRATCHED HIS FACE, then went and prepped an order.. ALL WHILE USING THE SAME GLOVES.

I ordered the Evesham and found hair in my cream cheese. The cream cheese was applied terribly on one side of the bagel. Whoever made it didn’t even bother to spread it throughout the bagel. The same thing with the onion: It was slapped on the center of the bagel, and they didn’t even bother to spread it around. The salmon was barely there. I had to stop eating once I saw the hair in my food. Not surprise after watching how things were prepped.

To sum it up - this store is run by a bunch of teenagers. We watched the guys in the back zoom in on a picture of someone’s cleavage. Not sure how they passed the health inspection when we can watch how the food is prepped. No hair net, wet rag on their heads to keep cool, which I understand but it’s not sanitary. Lastly, it’s a little weird that they don’t turn their screen with the tip page to the payers when you check out. We did two separate transactions and both times they didn’t turn the screen to us.

Great Bagels, Chewy, Soft, and their Banana Choc Chip Bagels are absolutely to die for...in fact, they are the best bagel I have enjoyed. EVER.

I am not one to write reviews usually but the past few times I have gone to get bagels on a Sunday, it has taken over 20-30 minutes to get two bacons egg and cheese sandwiches which is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a breakfast sandwich. The more irritating part is seeing other people come and place an “kitchen” order after me and get their order before me. I understand being busy but it appears you don’t really have a good “queue” system for cooking orders in the order they are received. I asked two times how much longer it was going to be before I finally asked for a refund and that was “magically” when they were “cutting the bagels now”

I think for now I am no longer going to go there to get bagels until they love to the larger location and hopefully that solves the problem but if it’s going to take more than 10 minutes to make a sandwich your staff should say something when placing the order.

Also when I finally got the order there was no sorry for the delay or anything.

Just beyond frustrated and a really annoying way to start the day.
