I ordered the smoke Jerk Salmon and it was delicious- it was spicy, flavorful, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Now the people I was with could have seemed like pains in the butt, asking for something other than they had already ordered, BUT the gentleman serving us was kind, patient and fair. He heard their complaints and offered them whatever else they wanted with no fuss. Based on service alone, I would go back.

Stopped by for lunch and tried a couple things from the special. Overall the food was solid and the portions were generous for the price.
I got the jerk chicken tacos which come two per order along with collard greens and green beans. The tacos were a little greasy but really flavorful. The collard greens were too salty for my taste and had a smoky aftertaste that leaned more burnt than barbecue. The green beans were much better mixed with peppers and carrots and nicely seasoned.
I also tried the veggie platter to sample more sides. It comes with four choices instead of an entrée and two so I went for the jollof rice candied yams baked mac and cheese and cornbread. Everything tasted good though the cornbread portion was smaller than expected since it came with one piece instead of three.
All the food was packed in plastic-wrapped to-go containers which made sense since everything was a bit saucy and greasy. Not the easiest to check before leaving but convenient for carrying home.
The inside of the restaurant was very hot and humid probably from the steam tables keeping the food warm. Most dishes are ready up front with a few extras coming from the back. I couldn’t imagine eating there since I was sweating just waiting in line but for takeout it’s definitely worth it.

I was at the Langhorne harvest festival this weekend and they were there selling their delicious food. I smelled it before I saw them and it was drawn right to it.
I got the stewed chicken and mac & cheese, and plantains and I couldn’t finish the whole thing.
Not complaining at all because I was able to enjoy it the second time.

I had their food over the weekend at a festival and, like some of the others, I was disappointed. I ordered the jerk chicken which came with res beans and rice and a side of Mac and cheese with a can of soda. It was $33. The Mac and cheese was pretty good, I’ve had better but also have had much worse. However, the chicken and rice was a total let down. The chicken had almost no flavor and was dry. It was smothered in what I assume they call jerk sauce but it was not spicy whatsoever. I had high hopes when looking at the menu and ordering but they disappeared when I got the bill and tasted the food. I understand being at a festival is different than a restaurant setting but it should have been better than it was

Just bought two platters from their tent, at a local town celebration. Two small platters totaled $60 and the rice was hard and was a very small amount in both platters. I know it’s a festival but that’s unacceptable. $60!!!

The Jerk Chicken was flavorful and juicy. The cornbread was delicious and not dry. And the Mac & cheese was fantastic. Owner was polite and attentive will be coming back again!
