Shanghai Express Chinese Food

I don’t even know where to start. Me and my wife moved here about 9/10 years ago and have been going from place to place and have hated them all no flavor undercooked food. I went on a Facebook group I’m in and this place was recommended. We drove 40 minutes and let me tell you WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. We didn’t even make it home we had one taste of the flavor and devoured it. The owner Teddy is the sweetest man alive. Don’t walk run I promise you living in New York my whole life you will not get better!!!!

Always friendly courteous service and great food.

The staff was very friendly. However food was bland and flavorless. The shrimp I. Lobster sauce was not good at all. The pork fried rice was over cooked fried rice and pieces of meat. The shrimp lomeim was also flavorless. No veggies or nothing just noodles with a few tiny shrimp thrown on

I recently ordered an order of Lake Tung-Ting Shrimp. It was heavenly. The large shrimp were plentiful, fresh and tender, the vegetables were crisp and delicious, and the sauce was light and very tasty!
I certainly will be ordering this dish again!

As much as I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, I couldn’t. After reading the reviews and mostly positive I figured I’d give this one a try. Super disappointed after a few bites but of course finished my meal. Meal wasn’t bad just wasn’t that good for the cost. Customer service was on point so the other reviews got this right.

I have been using the place for takeout Chinese quite often. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is exceptional, and I can't give them any bad marks. The indoor dining is just as good. I took my parents here and they loved every bit of it. I can't say enough, just go try them for yourself. Thank you again for a lovely dinner.

This is one of the best Chinese food places ever. The owner Ted and his Wife are extremely pleasant to deal with, we've been to the restaurant so many times that Ted addresses each one of my family members and wife by first name. The food is unbelievable, I would highly highly recommend this place. It's the best
