The politeness and courtesy is what sets this apart from other pizza establishments. Katherine is simply awesome. The tomato pies are the best.

Danny's is my go-to Ewing spot for almost anything. Their empanadas are ridiculous, the fried chicken is only second to Popeyes, and for whatever reason they have the best take out gyro next to Mikono's. I always ask for extra verde sauce, they make it there!

MUST READ!!! REPLY TO OWNER!
Worst panini I’ve ever had! I’d recommend Wawa over them. Burnt bread around the edges and said it was to have fresh spinach, spinach tasted and looked like it came out of a can… I addressed the worker there (think it was the owner) and he said it wasn’t burnt and that’s how it is supposed to get made or he’d get complaints… ironic isn’t it? I’ll let the picture speak for itself…. Lastly, if you run a restaurant you better not serve burnt anything to anyone, eating burnt food can cause cancer and with that being said it’s as if you’re attempting murder.

Reply to owner,
This is why I won’t ever go to your restaurant again. You want to try insulting me and then think it’s all good because you call me “my friend”. You are not my friend and never will be! My friends don’t try to feed me burnt food and say that’s what it suppose to look like! Why won’t they do this… the same reason they don’t try to piss on my head and tell me it’s raining… because they know I’m not an idiot and they know I’m not blind or hard of seeing!!!!

…….And the fact that you’re the owner and let burnt food go out the window to customers and try to argue it’s not burnt is a disgrace to ALL Italians! Impara a non essere ignorante. Own your mistakes and the ones that work under you or you should not be a business owner!

Btw/fyi- Toasted and burnt are two different things, when it turns black it’s burnt! And I do know Italian cuisine and I know one will not get excellent Italian from a hole in the wall pizza joint called Danny’s… Also it’s “know” not “known” so if you’re going to try insulting more customers at least do it with the right diction… Oppure rispetta i tuoi clienti e torneranno da te. È una tua scelta. God bless! And remember respect the customers or you will loose them… not everyone out there is an idiot!

I don't wanna be too harsh cuz i like this place, but also pizza wise? its not the best in the area by a longshot. For a quick slice, its easily on par but I got the margarita tonight and it was just tomato sauce and mozzarella? I'm fine with places doing Queen Maragarita's (google it I'm serious) preferred pizza differently but this wasnt that, there was no basil. The sauce also while not bad wasnt really working with the margarita pizza vibe either. Despite this, their slices and salads have been good in the past so I really don't wanna knock them too hard but at the same time, a margarita pizza is a classic in italian american cuisine and this was definitely not a classic. Also their staff are super super friendly which i really appreciate so its really just the failure to margarita that has them at a 3/5 on food.
