I went in, ordered my food then sat down. I started watching a video on my phone and out of the corner of my eye I saw a little roach running fast across the floor. I put my phone away and really looked around on the floor to see if there were anymore and I saw 2 more. Be careful! I used to really like this place.

Food was good. I like the potato salad and coleslaw. I really liked the short ribs and gravy and the fried fish was fantastic! I will be back. The atmosphere is not much, I usually take the food to go. Service is ok. But I enjoy the food. It's comforting. And it gives real home cooked food vibes.

Overall my order was taken quickly...however my food was mediocre at best... the fish, shrimp and yams were decent however the collards needs seasoning and the mac needed cheese and salt... I'd go back but I'd only order a sandwich...

Soulfood wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it'll do. The fish could use a bit more flavor, but it's pretty good for a asian fusion. 7 out of a 10. Whiting could've been crunchy, but I wouldn't mind trying the non Soulfood dishes.

We ordered take out and the food was awesome!! The whiting was perfectly cooked. We couldn’t believe how good it was. The friend chicken, potato salad were great, the Mac and cheese and the desserts were delicious. I am grateful to have learned about this place from friends and finally gave it a shot.

One of the most disturbing situations I’ve ever experienced, I went in to grab food , the person in charge was already losing his mind on the phone with someone previously about a order then he turned around and lost his mind on me , he seemed to be way over his head and I will never again go again
