Overall, good. Metro is usually our go to takeout. Dined in - service attentive (thank you, Christine), good wine by the glass options. Artichoke appetizer delicious and light, generous portion. Shared perfectly cooked calamari, yummy wedge salad. Clams casino were surprisingly spicy but tasty. One disappointment were the clams Bianca appetizer. I was expecting a generous bowl of fresh clams, and instead was served a bowl of maybe 15 small but tasty/tender clams covered with chopped clams - frozen or canned. A disappointment for $20, particularly since I have been a long time patron, and can recall a heaping bowl of steamed clams served in past years. Will continue to patronize Metro sans the clam appetizer.

My only problem with Metro is the noise after 5 pm because it's always packed and has a popular bar adjacent to the dinning room. So I try to go ridiculously early for dinner. I've never had a a bad meal there and the wait staff is excellent! Metro has been my favorite restaurant since they opened !

I've been going to Metro Grill for years and the food , service and vale have always been good. Last night was subpar at best. The server was inattentive- never check on us throughout the night. Had to get a busy boy and host involved twice to resolve an issue. Meal came out cold. Will be awhile before I go back. Extremely disappointed.

Best cocktails in the area! The bartenders can make any drink and they are always excellent. Food is awesome and it's a place you can have a conversation without raising your voice over any background noise.

The food at this place is far superior to most locations we've tried in the Pennington/Ewing area. I'm told the fish is first rate [according to my partner it's top rate - I'm allergic to fish!] but one thing I LOVE here is the cheeseburger. Listed as 'light fare' this is an outstanding plate of wonderful. I always order it because it's so good. Desserts to die for and the 'house' wines are excellent. French Fries are crispy!!

Metro Grill once felt more upscale. While the menu is nice, there is more of a sports bar atmosphere these days. Several menu options are strong, though the pasta feels basic compared to most truly Italian restaurants. Service varies greatly by wait staff member.
