What can i say this place is good.. the oxtails and j*** chicken cooked to perfection. So moist and tender, that both literally fell off the bone. The sauce was on point with the right amount of spice. Rice and beans, plantains to round it all of and we were in Jamaica again. Went to this place the next day to get beef patties and their Akee Fish, will let you know how it goes, but twice at the same place while on travel, that's a big deal for my tribe.

Lighthouse never disappoints (unless they ran out of jerked chicken for the day!) Lighthouse is to-go only restaurant with a small menu but all the necessary essentials! I brought my friend here for her first ever try of Jamaican, reluctant at first because of the hole-in-the-wall look that Lighthouse has, but once she took a bite of her jerked pork with rice n peas, that reluctance evaporated!!! "This is GAS!" She says For us college kids, Lighthouse matches our price range with between $10-$14 with 1 or 2 sides!! Love to support local yums, get Lighthouse for lunch!

Need to take food off their menus if they don’t offer it anymore. Curry chicken is exceptional. Mac and cheese tastes SUPER bland.

I have just began to experiment with Jamaican food and I truly can’t get enough of this place!! No exaggeration necessary. I can’t wait to go back and the owner is extremely kind. Very great place. I will be returning. Staff could be a little nicer but heck the food makes up for it. I’ve gotten the jerked chicken with the rice and collard greens and it was all very delicious. The collard greens could have used a little more flavor but other than that. Amazing!

Unfortunately have had two negative experiences. The first time we tried to order they were out of multiple things and our order just got cancelled. Ok fine - stuff happens. Went again and unfortunately they were out of things again. This may have been forgivable but that staff was less than welcoming. The goat was good but not enough to make me want to come back. I'd prefer Scotch Bonnet or for a slight difference, Annie's Hot on D' Spot Rotti.

The food is good, I usually get the curry goat the goat is tender falls off the bone and is seasoned well. Portion size is good. I gave 4 stars because customer service could be better, the young lady at the register is on the phone and hardly acknowledge the customer..
I ordered me oxtails, curry chicken , and j*** chicken platters for me and my coworkers . The rice was hard and dry in each platter . The j*** chicken didn’t have that “***** taste it was just spicy . The cabbage didn’t have no flavor it was steamed to a minimum and was very hard and crunchy. The oxtails were ok tasting bout could’ve been better . Bamboo Grill is better ? ??

Love the beef patties and coca bread. The service is always slow even when it doesn't have to be. When I placed my order the girl at the register didn't hear me correctly because she was on a personal call on her headphones and when I repeated what I ordered she stared at me as if I added something new and not that she wasn't paying attention. It took way too long to just put some bread in a bag as well.

This place should be 4.5 stars and up + absolutely amazing food. J*** Chicken, Curry Chicken & Honey BBQ chicken are all absolutely scrumptious. Rice and Mac and cheese absolutely best around
