Where should I start. No customers ahead of me, waiting 25 min for an oxtail platter. Platter was 28 for a medium. I don’t mind paying as long as I get a fair portion. Well my oxtails tasted like regular steak. U could tell it was made during my wait. No Caribbean spices, or authentic flavors, rice was very dry. My plantains were old dry. Overall I was highly disappointed. My oxtail were served in a side small container. I’ve always gotten oxtails over a bed of rice n peas. Atmosphere was muted. Keyboard and chair in the corner but even if there is a live band on certain days, music should have been played in the background ?

Delicious authentic Haitian cuisine - love that this place is right in Ewing. Whenever I go in to pick up my food I really feel I'm getting a taste of the Carribean. Love it!

Central Jersey has a new it spot for Haitian food! My hubby and I stopped in for some take out. The restaurant is charming, lovely decorations and ample seating for dine-in. The staff was great, polite and eager to help. Most of the items on the menus were available (they ran out of herring patties). The food is delicious. We had the chicken patty, egg patty, fried goat, fried pork, black rice, black bean sauce & white rice. The portions are ample and they are not selfish with the pikliz(spicy slaw)! I have 3 other Haitian restaurants within 10 minutes of me but I will be traveling the extra time to come here every time! Give them a try they won’t disappoint!

Went to dinner with my partner, and experienced authentic Caribbean cuisine. Rice, beans, stewed chicken, fried pork, tostones, spicy cole slaw, and a stewed beef sample. Everything tasted like it’s made from scratch by a caring chef. Owner explained the menu and provided excellent service. We both felt like we enjoyed a home cooked meal. We both grew up with Caribbean parents so we recognize when this type of cuisine is delivered so well. Order the chicken stew and you will be sucking those bones. Portions are very generous and pricing is quite reasonable. This is now our favorite spot. BYOB.

We had a party of seven. There was a bit of a wait for our order to arrive, but the service and food was worth the wait! Food is great! Thank you!

Happy to see this little spot in the Ewing Area. Nice vibe, good music, good food and great service!! My only suggestion would be to let clients know the level of spice for certain dishes. My fiancé got the goat and I got the chicken, both delicious but the goat was quite spicy. Service was outstanding, will definitely come back. Best of luck on the new journey!
