We got takeout for 2 people. I got the sweet and sour chicken and a shrimp tempura roll. (Which they said they did not have so I just had to create my own roll with shrimp tempura and cucumber). The other person got sesame chicken. For just that, it cost $45 which is insane for 2 people. The sushi would not stay together at all. The food had no flavor and for the insane prices we expected it to at least be editable. The sesame chicken literally only had 4 pieces of broccoli. Never going there again. If you want good Chinese food/sushi, I don't recommend this place.

DON'T TIP! The tips aren't given to the servers the owner keeps all of them!! All of your tips are going to the owner not the employees.

This was my first time ordering from "Yummy Sushi," and I’m very impressed. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted warmly. I had ordered ahead, and the food was ready promptly for pickup. Out of the 8 orders I placed, everyone loved their meal. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the excellent customer service and the high-quality food! FYI – the way you make your sushi is amazing and very filling. Don’t change a thing!

In the woven fabric of College Town, Ewing, New Jersey, lies an unassuming thread that binds more than just the community — Yummy Sushi, a humble yet profound sanctuary where the elegance of balance is not just practiced but perfectly embodied. This balance, a theme often explored in the nuanced narratives of Amy Tan, is palpable in every bite, every smile, every greeting that awaits you here.
At Yummy Sushi, balance is not merely a culinary principle but a cornerstone of existence, much like the delicate equilibrium between duty and desire, tradition and self-discovery that defines our own narratives. Each roll served is a testament to this ethos, with rice and filling in harmonious proportions, ensuring every flavor note is sensed, savored, and remembered. This meticulous balance is akin to the careful structuring of a story, where every element, no matter how seemingly insignificant, plays a crucial role in the narrative’s depth and resonance.
The shrimp bento box, a microcosm of the world in a tray, encapsulates diversity and completeness. With an array that engages all the senses, it reflects life's multifaceted nature — its surprises, its richness, its layers. Each segment of the box, much like chapters in a novel, reveals its own character and story, contributing to a larger, satisfying whole. This offering is a reminder of the varied chapters of our lives, each flavored with its unique set of experiences, yet part of a cohesive journey.
What truly transforms Yummy Sushi into more than a place of dining is its atmosphere — an embodiment of warmth and familial embrace that Tan often illustrates as the foundation of identity and belonging. Here, the essence of family extends beyond biological ties to encompass all who step through its doors. With every visit, a sense of homecoming pervades, nurtured by the genuine welcome and remembered preferences, echoing the return to one's roots, to one's essence, that is a recurrent theme in Tan’s explorations.
Yummy Sushi invites a return, not just through its culinary offerings but through the sense of belonging it fosters. Whether it's your daily haven, your weekly treat, or your monthly ritual, you are always welcomed back like a story returning to its theme, a melody to its refrain.
In a narrative as rich and layered as any penned by Amy Tan, Yummy Sushi stands as a reminder of the essential joys of life — good food, community, and the unbreakable bonds of an extended family. It’s where every meal is a confluence of stories, every patron a character, and every visit a chapter in the ongoing tale of Yummy Sushi, a place that, amidst the hustle of College Town, holds space for moments of simple, profound connection.

Great spot on the TCNJ campus for good sushi. The rolls are delicious and HUGE! The owners are great and the staff is kind and pleasant. It's typically very busy. Which is a testament to the quality of the menu. There isn't a better sushi place anywhere in the general area. They have a caterpillar roll that isn't on the menu, and egg drop soup... Don't be scared to ask for either!
