I never realized how.big this place is from the street. Nice set up, good place for big groups. Nice people, very friendly & helpful. I ordered a Sicilian and two granny slices, very good. I wanted garlic knots also but they didn't have any at this time,next time. They smelled really good but no worries. There hot sandwiches looked good as well. Give them a shot.
Nice and clean upon entering. We were shown to the back dining room so our party could all sit together and our waitress was happy to accommodate the children with us. The antipasto and pizza was delicious and plentiful. Pitchers of soda are available 😀. We had a very nice evening and ice cream is available for the children.

I moved out of state in 1994 and every time I came back to NJ (several times a year for 16 years) my first stop was always Umbertos. Not just for the awesome pizza ...but for the super warm greeting that came from Sylvio as I walked in the door. I moved back to NJ in 2009 and found that Umbertos pizza was still the best pizza in NJ. Forget about any pizza chains and forget about all the fancy new designer pizzas....nothing beats a plain slice from Umbertos. Even cold it's better...read full review
