We have been ordering from Anthony’s for over 5 years. Today was a disappointing. Ordered Margherita pizza, with tip its $30. Picked up, got home just to see that pie was barely covered with tomato sauce (only 2 pieces in the middle) rest was dry crust with sad thin slices of Mozzarella melted on them. Felt like throwing a frozen store bought pizza in the oven for $7 would be better idea for tonight. Hope you guys will do better next time, because this is straight up 👎.

Not sure how you can be a pizza-based restaurant and have terrible pizza, especially when we are in NJ and there are pizza places on the every corner, but here it is. My kids and I stopped here on the way home because it was an easy on/off the highway. We ordered pizza and my son wanted the kids’ spaghetti. The pizza crust was extremely dry and tasteless. There was nothing “coal fired” about it. It was just bad. I brought the remainder home and my husband ate it later. He even said “that is the worst pizza I’ve ever had.” The spaghetti was looked good and my son seemed to like it. I tried the meatball and it was good, so not all bad. I just can’t believe a pizza place served pizza THAT bad.

We usually love this location for it's convenient pick up and the quality of it's food, but lately it's been going downhill.
The last order we made was for a 16in meatball and ricotta. The first thing I noticed was the crust seemed rather thin. It really had the texture of a regular oven pie, not what we are used to from the coal oven. The other issue was that it was a full inch smaller than it should have been. Now while it might not seem like a big deal, when you pay nearly $30 for a pizza, you should get what you pay for. That one inch difference amounts to Anthony's overcharging about $4 a pie. Not sure we'll be back.

The wings were overcooked and burnt. The salad was ok.

We had a great meal and time here! We had the eggplant and the meatballs both recommended by our server, Erin. For pizzas we did the hot honey and caprese both EXCELLENT!!! We ended the night with cannolis, would come back just for these, mouth watering!!! Erin was attentive and helped us with any question we had, she truly made our night with her bubbly personality and knowledge of the menu. Would come back request her and those cannolis!!!! Can’t rave enough about this place!!

I placed an order for delivery and this how my food was.BURNED. How is it possible that everything is in this conditions? and when I called the manager he said: that their pizzas are “WELL DONE”.

The wings were disappointing, ordered hot and it was just bland with not much heat- I needed ranch to get some flavor. I thought it was just a fluke, went on a different day and tried the hot honey (extra charge)... I tasted more seasoned chicken. Not even sticky!

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Fair Lawn never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot—especially the wings and coal-fired pies, which are absolutely delicious.

What really sets this location apart is the service. Melanie, the bartender, is outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always makes everyone at the bar feel welcome. She has a great energy and genuinely connects with each guest, which makes the experience that much better.

Highly recommend stopping by, grabbing a seat at the bar, and letting Melanie take care of you. You’ll be glad you did!

We always have a big crowd with us, and appreciate the service from Anthony’s staff, plus the food is always great. Fresh, delicious, and something for every one of my picky eaters.
