Chicken salad sandwich 11.00 dollars ouch.

We ordered on Doordash so no insight on the location, but the food is terrible. I'm not sure what their deli sandwiches are like, but do not order their main entrees. With such a large italian community in the area Giovannis is a slap in the face. I have no idea how they are still in business with far better restaurants nearby. Most offensive is the 4.4 star review they hold on Google. At Giovannis they give you half a kaiser roll (yes like a bacon egg and cheese roll) with your meal. House made or even just quality bread is a standard at italian establishments. The pene was overcooked and mushy, and they did not do a good job straining the pasta water. The penne vodka tasted like pasta water soup. All of their ingredients are obviously bought pre-made and simply heated and assembled. DO NOT eat here and go to literally any other italian spot down the road.

I'm not here to debate with anyone. There are so many good sandwich shops and delis in North Jersey... but try the #57 (or #58 if you're a vegetarian) and tell me that's not one of the best sandwiches in New Jersey!

Had the Batman n Robin. Wow what a combo. There vodka sauce is delicious...Defintely coming back n trying other sandwiches. Nice job.
