A very decent place. They served some good food. Plain dosa and Uthappam were great. Naan and Chicken curry combo was good. Really impressive service by the staff.

I came with a friend for lunch today and we got the gluten free bread roll stuffed with potatoes and it came with 3 different sauces. She got the okra masala and I got the malai kofta. we also enjoy the masala chai tea at the end and the waiter gave us rice pudding dessert for free! He was very nice, chatted with us, I’m so happy we came. Very good!!

Delicious! I've been craving dosa so of course had to get the spicy Mysore Masala Dosa - spicy and flavorful.
We also got the Onion Pakoras which were crispy and delicious, and tried the Medu Vada which was a dense, savory "donut".
A highlight is the Goat Biryani which was so flavorful and satisfying, with the rich goat flavor permeating the rice.
We rounded out the meal with Chicken Korma, mildly spicy and rich, and flaky paratha.
We were stuffed and couldn't finish all the food we'd ordered, so shared a Mango Malai (?) which was luscious and decadent and the perfect end to a meal.
Overall an excellent meal in a low key, casual eatery. It looked closed and the door was locked when we got there a little after 11:30, but they quickly opened up the door and sat us quickly. It was very quiet while we were there, but several take out orders came in and another party came in.
The staff were attentive.
We had plenty of leftovers to take home and we will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.

The food was really good and flavourful. They served both north and South Indian cuisines. Loved the madras coffee. The waiter was friendly and helpful.

I have recently ordered takeout for the first time and that will not be my last!
The food was amazing!
Comparing to other Indian restaurants that I have visited, that one is one of my favorite!

Overall flavors are very good. Tikka masala chicken and vegetable are yum, but slightly overpriced. Would’ve liked more chicken. I would highly ignore and never suggest the lamb biryani. It’s overpriced, the rice is okay, but there is little to NO meat. Only BONES, which for the price point is ridiculous! Garlic naan was awesome. In general, probably not going to order again, it’s not worth the price for the value of the meal.

Restaurantji Recommends
We (group of 5 adults) had early lunch (1130am) on a Sunday. The food was freshly made & delicious, service was with a smile & quick. We shared Tawa fish fry (full Pomfret), fish fry (King fish) and Seeraga Samba Goat Biryani, would highly recommend.

Serving size is enough for one person. Rassam can be shared between two people. All food is fresh and tastes delicious. Restaurant has neutral smell-doesn’t smell like curry. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Limited but delicious vegetarian options

Finally Found the Perfect Hyderabadi Biryani!
After searching high and low for the perfect Hyderabadi biryani in New Jersey, my quest is finally over! I discovered MANJAL in Fair Lawn, and it exceeded all my expectations. The biryani brought back memories of the delicious meals I enjoyed back in Hyderabad.
After numerous disappointments from other restaurants, this was a breath of fresh air. The service was polite and attentive, which added to the overall experience. I also tried the Gobi Manchurian and masala dosa, both of which were incredibly flavorful.
Thank you for keeping the authentic taste alive! I’ll definitely be returning. Keep up the great work!
