Nostimo Mediterranean Greek Restaurant is a family-run establishment located in Westfield, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Its most popular dishes are Thalassenas, calamari, youvetzi, shrimp platter, and galactoaboureko. The restaurant also offers authentic Greek desserts like baklava and Greek Yogurt cake, providing a delightful experience without having to visit Astoria. The staff is friendly.
The Greek Salad is the best salad according to one of the customers, who also praises the lamb entree, which melts in the mouth. The portions are more than ample, no matter what you order. The beet salad is wonderful with tangy dressing and feta cheese the size of a snowball. For a birthday, they bring a huge piece of Greek Yogurt cake that is so light it almost floats off the plate. Large enough to divide in three. However, Brazzini fish fillet had bones and was overcooked.
One customer experiences a great customer service when they lost their keys. Nostimo's owner, Petrite, offered to drive them home. He said they are moving to Kenilworth, so customers will be able to continue visiting them. The lamb is very tender with tons of flavor. The saganaki is different than in Detroit, with an awesome Greek community.
