In the 1970s and 1980s I spent 15 summers from June to August in Greece. This is the most authentic Greek food I've had since I was there. The choices are extensive; the intimate atmosphere is exceptional and best of all the wait staff are friendly, helpful and delightful. The displays of the desserts are mouthwatering. And the Greek coffee is perfect. In this restaurant you are back home in Greece.

Been driving past this place for months, should have gone sooner. Very small but who cares, food, especially the grilled calamari, was great. We shared a chicken platter which had some perfectly grilled chicken to go with the veggies. Definitely will be back, service was friendly and the price was

Did take-out recently. Clean, staff was friendly, food seemed reasonably-priced. I tried the gyro platter, thought it was quite good. Shout-out to the owner for not adding a credit card fee to the bill; instead, there was a discount if you pay cash. That's the right way to do it! We won't go back to restaurants that charge a credit card fee! We will go back to Nostimo.

Small place, easy to drive past it and miss it, as I have several times, but yesterday we made an effort to get there in the pouring rain and it was great. Small and cozy inside, friendly staff and delicious food, what more do you need? Had some grilled calamari appetizer and we should have ordered a second, it was that good, add the just right sized chicken platter and you are all set. I easily could have eaten the platter myself but we are trying to be good so we split it, next time I'll be trying some lamb I believe

Went here for dinner with my girlfriends and food was amazing. Small place so make reservations if a weekend. I have not had Greek Mediterranean food in a long time. We live about 40 minutes from there and worth traveling to. Staff was great and made great suggestions. We had an appetizer, Greek salad and 2 entrees to share. All the choices they have you cannot go wrong with. I plan on going back for lunch when we are in the area and hoping the outdoor eating area is open with the nice weather coming.

I spent $45 for 2. Two Gyros, stuffed grape leaves, Greek salad, & chicken orzo soup. They forgot my soup so I had to go back inside for it. The soup had no orzo and very little of anything else besides broth ($7). If you are out of soup or dont have enough for a regular portion they should alert the customer. Greek salad was made with shreaded lettuce (menu says made with romaine) and cost $13?! Had 5 olives. Really? The gyros were severely lacking (while my wife had a much larger one). Mine again, was mostly shreaded lettuce & tomato. There were also fries in the gyro for space filler. Just so disapointed. One chance for a first impression and they absolutely blew it. I will not return under any circumstances.

I figured I’d try this place last night. I kept it simple figuring if they got this right I’d try something more substantial. I got a chicken gyro sandwich. It was terrible. Who puts French fries on a gyro? The chicken itself was thawed out precooked food service gyro chicken. It was both rubbery and mealy. The cooks didn’t even to heat it up. Really gross. The rest was blah. And tiny portions. If you can’t even get a gyro right don’t call yourself a Greek restaurant. I won’t be back.

I really like this place. We chose it last minute & they accommodated our 7 person party one of whome is gluten intolerant & lactose free & and other halal. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated & the service very good. My Bronzino was excellent & my friend's shrimp was grilled to perfection. My bronzino came with grilled lemon, broccoli & I got spinach as an extra side. My husband & the rest of the party got gyro platter. I ended my meal with decaffeinated cappuccino & it was delicious with chocolate powder. We really appreciated that they gave us almond cookies as a treat. I would go back & so would our friends.

This small stand-alone bright blue house is a gem of Mediterranean charm in mid Jersey. The interior is modest, neat and cozy. We went there for dinner on Monday (President Day) night and we were the first customers at around 5:30 then followed by a bunch of more. The small house was filled in an hour or so. We were welcomed with warm pitas and olives (complimentary). We ordered Greek Calamari, Fried Zucchini and a fried cheese as appetizers followed by Lamb Shank on Orzo, Gyro Platter and Vegetarian Mousaka. Everything was so delicious. The waiters were very attentive. They let us try their yum sugar powdered almond cookies. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: We had the traditional Greek Moussaka, most delicious!
