I ordered the fried shrimp and my wife ordered a Poké bowl. Both were horrible. So bad. Asked waitress if the fried shrimp was battered. Slopp fr the fish store. She went back to kitchen and asked and was told it was lightly Battered. It came out even worse than at the takeout place. My wife’s Poké bowl was an embarrassment so bad.
What happened to this restaurant? This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. They have a fish market inside the restaurant. This is weird, right? They used to have the best tomato soup. However, now they do not serve it. The new menu is way too small and is predominantly seafood. I am not a fan. We went there on a Friday night. After we ordered our drinks we left. Hopefully they change back to the old menu. The owner and staff are really nice people.
Went there Saturday night worst meal asked for fried fish came out horrible completely overcooked I could see why nobody goes there.
The food is amazing and the prices are fair. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is intimate.
I ordered chicken wings 12pieces jerks x 2 and cost $48 . They just poured the jerks spice on them. Chicken tasted horrible and even a dog would not eat them due to damn dryness. I would have returned them. I will never buy anything there again. They need to hire a chef.
Great service. Good food. The bar tender was really hustling and taking care of the whole place with a great attitude.
Several of us had dinner there over the weekend and were, in general, disappointed. The soup was cold and the food was bland. While the waiter was friendly and nice enough, the service was very ordinary. To cap things off we were asked to give up our table after being there about one and one half hours; although there was no obvious need since there were several tables not occupied. In short, after a much anticipated visit, we left unfulfilled. Perhaps, it was just a bad day for a visit.
The owner is a very nice man but he desperately needs a new chef/cook. Food is mediocre at best and that is being kind. Prices are not commensurate with the quality, quantity or portion sizes of the food that they serve.Although this is a friendly neighborhood bar that makes good drinks, if that is all you are coming here for, then you will leave happy. If you come here expecting great appetizers or a terrific meal reasonably priced.....forget.about.it!!!!You will leave utterly disappointed with a much lighter wallet.....?
Food is horrible . The Ruben egg rolls were super soggy. The Cuban panini was made with chunks of old burnt pork that tasted horrible, bread was wet asked for pickles and mustard on the side, no mustard was provided and the pickles were sitting under the roll together with a slice of tomato and a chunk of lettuce. Fries were black and soggy!!!!47$ directly into garbage. I won’t order from this place ever again!

I wasn't here too long and unfortunately we got there to late to order food. I did like the historical feel of the pub. I hope to get back there again. I was told the desserts ate great!?
Went here for an early dinner with my family and we were seated in their outdoor seating area which was spacious enough. We were a large group, 8 of us, which included our 2 little ones!I ordered some beer (average prices between $8-$10) and for dinner, ordered the Three black bean sliders with Swiss cheese, hummus, guacamole ($14.95) from their super extensive menu.A few things... there was a slight unpleasant smell in the outdoors area that did keep bothering us every now and again. Food overall was just ok - nothing really stood out and for some of us, it did not fit well later, unfortunately.Service however, was absolutely outstanding! Our server was attentive, and friendly enough. The place wasn't that busy at around 7 pm on a Sunday evening, and it was just us and another family seated in this area.Might visit again, but just for their drinks!
This was our first time here. .the service was amazing the staff took really good care of us and made sure everything was to out satisfaction. The food was delicious and the cocktail tasted really good ,this will definitely become our favorite restaurant ....even just for hanging out and having a great cocktail, love that it has an outdoor space to hang out as well and that they have different offers daily like martini Tuesdays?
This place was empty at 7 pm, but it was a holiday weekend. Maybe everyone was at a cookout.I'm into craft beers and the waitress went over the list quickly. One was "Cape May". "Which Cape May?" I asked. Shrug, giggle, "IPA" I was told. But I settled on the Maine Peepers, same response. IPA. Incorrect. Then she tells me they didn't have it anyway. Nine bucks for a draft, please provide a printed list so your staff knows what they are serving. It would've been ok if she seemed a little interested in serving me correctly. There are lots of places to drink craft beer nowadays, so you should also come back and see if I want another, and know what you are selling. Peach sangria tasted good but not the least bit peachy. Tasted like orange.Appetizer was pretty good, guacamole with plantain chips. Crab cake sandwich was huge and tasted good. Special filet mignon sliders were tasty, but hard to eat. The meat was tender but you couldn't bite through the little sliders. I had to cut them up with a steak knife or each bite would pull the whole piece of meat out of the bun. So, it wasn't like eating a slider. Because if that I wouldn't recommend them. Overall, was just OK. The inattentive waitress was a turn off. Then they give you the credit card scanner and the lowest tip programmed in there is 20%. LOL, dream big. Yes I know about the custom amount. Could've been better....
I ordered calamari ( a little dried out ) and garlic parm wings ( they must have changed the sauce since my last visit or the order was incorrect). Either way, I ate them. They were good. The place smelled like a wet mop or old carpeted movie theater. The guy cleaning the tables with a dirty rag, collecting dishes in a bin and sweeping the floors ... stopped to pour our water. Not cool. Unsanitary. Also, the glasses smelled like a fish tank. Separately, please note a 3.5% fee will be added to your total if you use a card ( does not include gratuity).
