This is one of my favorite local restaurants. We have known one of the owners for years. We go here for fish-n-chips. We’ve been getting fish and chips from Sheelen’s for over two years - the fried fish is really miss more than hit lately - 50-75% of the time, the batter is so incredibly thick that the outside may be golden brown and crispy but right underneath is a layer of undercooked-pancake wetness. Fish & Chips platters were good. I combined my three fish into one taco as the amount of fish was very small. Ceviche was more like a shrimp cocktail; shrimp and scallops were not chopped as traditional crevice is usually prepared.
