Incredible food. Hummus and pita is some of the best you can get. Main dishes - full of flavor and generous portions. Baklava and coffee were fantastic. Also, very friendly and welcoming staff. Please give them a try you won’t regret it!

Very bad experience they are really rip off people I ordered salmon with rice and salad and the order taker guy said it doesn’t come with the salad so i ordered a separate salad too … but when my order arrives at my table so the salmon with rice and salad and there’s an additional plate of salad I call the guy an asked what is this fish with salad already and there’s another additional salad he said u ordered like that .Actually they have a unique style to rip people this forcefully way bcoz they don’t cancel anything u ordered already and it’s on ur table that’s rediculus I am definitely gonna take this to the consumer rights dept… Imagine two pieces of biscuit size salmon Small container of salad , little container of rice and a separate plate of rice and small bottled water they charge me 51$ and 15 cents.. they think people are fool… This was barely worth 15 to 20$

Featuring an extensive menu of traditional Turkish delights, having a meal here will save you thousands in airplane tickets and hotel reservations. Having traveled around Türkiye, I can confidently say that there's no place in New Jersey or New York that comes close to the authenticity and taste of Efsane. I highly recommend any of their kebabs, lahmacun and their falafel. And you simply can't pass up their homemade baklava. I've had enough Karaköy Güllüoğlu and Hafiz Mustafa to feed an entire herd of elephants, and I'd take Efsane's legendary baklava over both of them!
