I absolutely LOVE Bistro 55. The food, ambiance and overall service is incredible. The owner, Mo, is so welcoming and sweet. He recommend the chicken shwarma platter and it was so delicious. The baklava is so flaky and incredible. If you’re a Mediterranean fan like me, this should def be on your list.

Been to Bistro 55 pretty regularly over the past year. I've had the kofta kebab, gyro platter, lamb kebab, and bistro mix. Every time the food is delicious and well-prepared. My favorite is the mix because you get a little bit of everything. Service has always been fantastic too, it's a go to spot for my friends and me. Give it a try if you haven't! We need more people out on Main Street in Flemington.

We had a wonderful experience at Bistro 55 Mediteranean Restaurant in Flemington, NJ. I brought my girlfriend here to celebrate her 70th birthday and it was the perfect choice. Mo, our server couldn't have been more accommodating-he seated us at a lovely table by the window, encouraged us to take our time, and never rushed us, which made the evening feel special and relaxed.
We both ordered the lemon checken, which I highly recommend-it was absolutely delicious. Also, I might add my friend is gluten free and they were very accomadating to her needs. On top of that, Mo's friendly personality and the warm atmosphere made the night even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely go back again.

Despite that they were short handed the service was really good. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had to kill some time and we stayed a long time and felt welcome the whole time. I highly recommend.

This is a good restaurant but the prices are high. To survive in this area you must reduce prices here. This area is not Bernadsville.
This place is amazing would definitely drive out of my way to come here

This restaurant is truly outstanding. The environment feels welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The Egyptian cuisine is exceptional, with rich authentic flavors that clearly reflect the care put into every dish. You can really tell that quality and passion go into the food.

Bistro 55 is such a cozy, reliable spot. The food is always fresh and full of flavor, and the staff treats you like family. We even hosted our marriage reception there, and they made the whole night feel effortless and special. Truly a place that never disappoints.

We loved Bistro55. We had brunch and all four of us enjoyed the food and service! We live in town so we’ll definitely be back! I only wish we had come sooner!!!! 🤗🥙. Order the hummus with gyro meat appetizer. It was A+++.
I was very disappointed with this place, especially considering the prices and the fact that it advertises authentic Egyptian/Arab food.
The appetizer (hummus, falafel, and wara 3nab) took a while to come out, and when it finally did, the portion was very small for the price. The wara 3nab looked random and was unprofessionally plated. The falafel was especially disappointing — five TINY SKINNY pieces for $10. The hummus was extremely inauthentic and not good at all. And y'all we are an Arab family, we know our hummus.
The appetizer came with only about five small slices of pita, which was not nearly enough for our family. We were offered extra pita, but those few additional slices were charged $8. Not like it was pita anyways lmao.. It's that naan from Costco y'all.
After the appetizer, the waiter informed us that the koshary we ordered (the main reason we came) was not available. The restaurant was almost completely empty, so it didn’t seem like they had sold out. This should have been communicated before, not after waiting.
I want to be clear that the waiter herself was respectful and understanding, and I don’t blame her at all — she was working alone. However, the restaurant overall felt very unprofessional.
When we went to pay after deciding not to continue, the owner told the waiter to make us wait longer so the kitchen could prepare the koshary “from scratch.” That didn’t make sense, especially since we were just told it wasn’t available. Do they not make it from scratch anyways..? Regardless, my family wasn’t willing to wait even longer after already waiting so much. The waiter understood and informed the manager.
Overall, do not waste your time or money y'all. Get yourself some yummy, authentic, and rightly priced Arab food from a good place :)
