Great authentic food made fresh. Best guacamole around.
Food is great, service is slow. And it takes a while to get your food even if you order ahead.

This place has the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I try every Mexican food place I come across! Been coming to this place for almost 10 years. Walk thru the door and you’re transported to an authentic Mexican restaurant in Flemington. Everything is made from scratch with love (so sometimes it takes a little while). Go when you have time and sample around the menu. Don’t miss the bold flavors of real guacamole, savory chimichangas, perfectly prepared burritos, and complimentary chips & salsa. BYOB so you can save a few bucks. Soda selection is unusual too if you want to try something new. Go with friends to hang out, with the family or date night. Go for great food, Mexican decor/music and a relaxing time. I held a buffet style luncheon there once and would absolutely do it again. Gabby was very easy to work with and provided everything as expected. You can arrive early to decorate/setup and set up drinks (coffee, beer, wine, margaritas!), if desired. Prices are better than anywhere else around. You’ll want to have people carpool if it’s a large group (may need to park along Old Croton Road if you have more than 10-12 vehicles arriving, but they’ll let you have the whole place and do as you please. I’ve picked up guacamole to bring to a many events and I am always asked where the guac came from! The best!
This spot is delicious! I came here for dinner, I live out of town and no one was here. The food was great! There was a small wait, but between online orders and a couple people coming in there was only one or two people working. Food this good from a small family business is awesome.

Food was excellent. Very generous size portions of real authentic home cooking. Prices are very fair. Parking is tight. Be ready for a wait as they usually have one server/cook. But worth the wait. Excellent atmosphere, plenty to enjoy while waiting.

We’d been getting recommendations for this restaurant forever and finally decided to give it a shot and we were so glad we did.
We arrived on the earlier side and it was a one woman show with our hostess taking our order and heading to the back to cook one delicious plate after the other!
I highly recommend the tacos al pastor but everything was fantastic! The food was also very reasonably priced which was impressive considering how apparent it was that each thing was being individually prepared.
The guacamole was the best I’ve ever had!

Love this place. My wife and I lived in the area for 3 years before we stopped in to check it out. What a regret. It's a real mom and pop shop serving up delicious Mexican food. We order take out from here pretty often now. Get the chorizo burritos, you won't be let down!

The best tacos I have ever had!! I've searched near and far, and by far they are the best! I prefer regular ground beef - and they have it.
First time eating here for takeout. The empanadas were amazing and delicious, really liked the way they were prepared with the shredded lettuce on them. My only issue was the table I was waiting at had food on it and the floor needed a vacuum. I will go back to try some other dishes in the future

On a Sunday afternoon, with only two tables with customers, it took 45 minutes to bring our drinks and then our food order came out 45 minutes after that. Food was ok, but not worth a 90 minute wait.

We had lunch yesterday at this place based on great reviews.
We arrived around 1pm.
The place pretty empty not sure why. There was a woman came out from the kitchen once we walked in.
There was no any complimentary tortilla chips like any other Mexican restaurants.
There was no any utensils on the table either. Only napkins.
So we both ordered tacos, carne asada and Al pastor and both were great.
I ordered Togo flautas de pollo and bistec ala mexicana (I love the container, separate with the beans, rice and the beef)
The beverages options only sodas that they have in the refrigerator, other beverages that they have in the menu is not available.
And yes the service can be a bit slow. When she brought us the tacos was not that long. But we had to wait a bit longer for my Togo meal. Overall was good.
Ultimately 5 stars because that's just how incredible the food is. The service was great but slow. There must be like 2 people in the place to serve the front. On top of that, the restaurant can be a bit hot but the decor is nice.
It took quite a long time to get our food but once it came out, it was incredible. I think it's because there is a single person in the back making everything to order.
If you want the best food, expect to wait but it's well worth it.
Their red salsa is actually spicy. The al pastor tacos were so flavorful and the rice was packed with flavor. I'd eaten a paella for lunch but this place's rice was even more incredible.
