We enjoy to go out. Last night we arrived in this superb place which we didn’t know before. We passed a delightful evening there with superb dishes and a nice stuff and a distinguished chef. We put this place in our list and we shall no doubt go again very soon. Highly recommended.

I visit this special restaurant many times as I enjoy the special air that is characterizes this place. The personel is exceptionally helpful and qualified. The service is pretty rapid. Also, the food they cook is magnificent. I ate there more than once and I was never disappointed. The rate is honest. I highly recommend this place to to all.

We went to Jake's on Sunday for the buck a shuck oysters. We went about 3:00 PM, sort of in between lunch and dinner. There were four of us. Three of us ordered a dozen oysters each. They were fine, served with sides like mignonette sauce, cocktail sauce and horseradish on the side. Two folks at the table had the Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. They were quite happy. Another had one of those cans of spiked seltzer. That wasn't a hit. The oysters were followed by fried lobster sliders for two folks and the bratwurst on a pretzel role for me. They were ok with their sliders, I really enjoyed the bratwurst. It was excellent. We like Jake's. It's got a sports bar on one side, a linen tablecloth restaurant on the other. Service is good. Tap water is served in large chilled bottles. Prices are low to fair. We keep coming back.

Great food and service.I was initially hesitant because of the lack of windows, but was pleasantly surprised. The drink menu (both beer and liquor) was robust and the food was tasty and priced appropriately for the venue.

We picked Jake's because it was 1/2 way between us. Good atmosphere and staff, great environment. Suggestion - the outside does not do the inside justice. All 4 of us agreed. A little "oomph" to the exterior would probably drive more business. This was our first visit. We will definitely return.
