Kyoto Japanese Restaurant is a great spot for trying new sushi, with fresh and delicious options for both non-vegetarians and vegans. Vegan customers can enjoy dishes like the asparagus roll, avocado roll, oshinko (pickled radish) roll, and a vegan-friendly Thai dish with green curry sauce. The service is friendly, polite, and the staff do a great job. The food is so delicious that even vegetables become appealing. Prices are on the higher end, but the unique and tasty options make it a worthy occasional treat. They also have amazing takeout. Some dishes like the sweet potato tempura roll and salmon roll were delicious, though the miso soup was a tiny bit bland. Lunch bento boxes were also tried, with the green curry being delicious on one visit, but later experiencing too much coconut milk and being weak. The monster roll was disappointing as it was a cooked roll, with "crunchy" apparently meaning cooked on their menu. The quality is always fantastic and very consistent.
