Matt's Red Rooster is a place for special occasions, and every day above ground is pretty special. I've never had a less than perfect experience at Matt's and recommend it to anyone. It gets no better than a cut of steak from Matt's grilled to perfection, until you try the pistachio/tiramisu layer cake that I hope becomes a regular item because it goes so well with espresso. In case Matt reads his reviews, that cake is my new favorite.

We ate on the porche and it was the perfect night for it.......... the best that flemington has to offering had the steak and my girlfriend had the fish special which she loved. If you want high end food but want to wear jeans this is the place for u. Menu has a lot's to offer and it's seasonal which I love.

What a wonderful spot in downtown Flemington! Located just off the main drag in an old home, this place is as charming as the food is delicious. There’s outdoor seating on street level, front porch, main level, and up a fairly steep flight of stairs on the second level. It’s BYOB so come prepared! Loved the atmosphere. Excellent service provided by David. And the meal? Oh, the meal. Bread service was great. Warm bread with a crisp crust, delicious salty butter, and an apple...
