Service and food have gone down . Food tasted stale and the service seemed like they hated their jobs. Just not a good experience.

The burritos are massive and delicious, not to mention being (relatively) inexpensive, especially in this day and age. I just do take-out, so atmosphere isn't important to me.

Honestly, this would be my last meal if I had to choose. I go here almost every weekend. They have great perks and rewards, which makes it easy to get free burritos. They do not disappoint. Their Queso is to die for. And I love spice. When I go here, the Verde sauce does not disappoint. Plus everyone is so sweet and friendly and they are so quick and helpful. I've been to other panceros as well, but Flemington, NJ, is my all-time favorite and a must go.

Vegetarian options: Tofu instead of a meat for your dish. I'm not a vegetarian, but I'll get the tofusada at times anyway because it is so good.

Dietary restrictions: You can customize your dish. If you want less carbs you can go without rice or make it a bowl to leave out the tortilla.

I have a deep appreciation for Pancheros and the cultural diversity represented by its staff, as someone who values multicultural experiences and inclusivity. However, I’ve been struggling with communication issues that have begun to affect my enjoyment of the restaurant. For example, during a recent visit, I requested a soda from the fridge behind the counter and a cup. Despite my clear and repeated attempts to explain that I simply wanted a cup to go with my drink, there was a significant breakdown in communication. The staff seemed confused by my request and even mentioned a charge for the cup, which added to my frustration.

These experiences have been disheartening, as they make me feel increasingly disconnected and unwelcome. I understand that language barriers can be challenging and appreciate the diversity the staff brings. However, I believe that addressing these communication issues and providing additional support could make a big difference. It would help ensure that all customers, regardless of their language or background, can enjoy a smooth and positive experience.

TL;DR: I tried, really hard, to place an order... but they spoke only Spanish! Not a tiny bit of English. So I was forced to leave.

More detail: I was about to order the salad (with chicken) and the -sullen/unfriendly- sales lady just looked at me, no word/question.
I asked "Is the salad a taco salad?" (Their signage doesn't say)
She exclaimed "Salad!"
I said "No - question: is this mixed salad a taco-salad?"
Her response "Salad?"
I tried one more time "Is this a taco salad or plain/mixed salad?"
She just stared at me, finallygrabbed a plastic bowl, exclaimed "Salad!" and was about to begin shoveling salad in there...
So, it's obviously not a taco-salad.
I said stop!... and left.

This was so surreal, are there no hidden/candid cameras? Was I being pranked? Was this a Monty Python sketch?
We will never know.

I ate there before, the food is not bad actually - if you are lucky enough to find a person that speaks/understands rudimentary English...

Extremely rude. The girls making your burrito treat you like a burden. They speak to each other in Spanish the whole time. And after I paid she just hands me the receipt and walks away without saying anything.

This Pancheros is by far out of all the Pancheros gives the least amount of food portioning. Aside from that, what is even more annoying is there rude staff. They don’t properly put a lid on and when you ask them to fix it they give you attitude. Overall poor service at this place

Cashier stuck his finger with no gloves into my queso cup to grab it before filling it and tried to serve it to me. He fixed it and put gloves on when I asked but still. It’s gross. He just handled someone’s credit card right before me. Not ordering “pick up” any time soon because who knows what they’ll do behind your back.Other than that never any problems with the food. Look forward to it once a week at least and always friendly faces behind the counter. First time in 8 visits I’ve had an issue but it bothered me that it did not seem like an issue immediately with the employee. So again, mobile pickup be cautious.
