Paid for some upgrades and did not get my upgrades that I paid for. Also omitted protein powder in my bowl but still got it. The protein powder which I omitted from my order was still in powder form in the bottom of my bowl.
There was only one person working inside my hubby said when he picked up order. :(

Megan and Sam were the two ladies i had the pleasure of being serviced by on my visit. I came in at the last hour which I know is clean-up hour. Had to get a few smoothies and fruit. Although they were cleaning the smoothie machines and I insisted they didn't have to make to make the smoothies due to them already cleaning the area, they took the time make the smoothies and a fruit bowl I also added and even thru in some suggestionsi might've wanted. They were very welcoming and had great, positive energy. They deserve all the extras. Big thanks to them.

My daughter loves Playa Bowls and I have become a fan as well. It can be sometimes crowded but the staff are friendly, helpful with suggestions and manage to get everyone served in a timely fashion. I've been to another location but the Flemington store is by far my favorite!!

when i went in on sunday morning the staff was great! they made my bowl so well. will definitely be returning!!!
When I visited the store today, I witnessed a very upset customer being rude to the three staff members working. Despite the store being busy, the team remained professional and courteous, assisting everyone. I want to give a shoutout to the girls working during that time for upholding high standards and still making our order with care.

Will not be coming back to this location after the experience I had today. I went on a Monday around 12:30, and from the moment I stepped up to order, the staff was unbelievably rude. The brown haired girl who took the order clearly didn’t have much patience with me from the start. I mentioned I had a nut allergy she acted completely dismissive, barely spoke, and then told us to “walk away” while she started helping the customers behind us even though we hadn’t even paid yet. She then turned to her coworker and said, “I need their card,” as if we were supposed to read her mind. which forced us to awkwardly jump back in line just to finish ordering.
When our bowls were ready, nothing was labeled as allergen-friendly, even though I know they have stickers for that. I politely tried to confirm which bowl was mine and whether they had changed their gloves, and both employees rolled their eyes, gave me an attitude, and brushed me off with sarcastic “yeah” responses from the blonde girl. It felt very disrespectful and dismissive. At that point, I couldn’t even trust that my food was safe. I completely understand that a busy place can get hectic, but there’s no excuse for outright rudeness. I’ve been here before with other employees and had a completely different (positive) experience, but today’s staff made it miserable from start to finish. If you have allergies, or if you simply want to be treated with basic respect, I would recommend going elsewhere.
Allergies are extremely serious, and the least the staff can do is acknowledge that and make customers aware they can’t 100% guarantee safety. People can suffer severe reactions, be seriously injured, or even lose their lives from something as simple as cross-contamination especially when staff don’t listen carefully to the customer. Basic respect and awareness can be the difference between a safe meal and a medical emergency. If the owner does see this I suggest having a sit down with your employees about allergies and the safety that needs to be associate with it. I did love this place but I can’t come back for the simple fact that I don’t feel safe eating it with the service I received. I should have just gone to jersey mikes instead 😂
