My go to place for lunch. Had a flounder with ginger and scallion this time. Delicious as are all the dishes I have tried here. Definitely would recommend this place.

Cleanliness of utensils is a new issue that we noticed this time. New glass had lipstick marks and a coupe of ‘clean’ spoons had food on their back. Apart from that, food has been decent.
Excellent. The person who invited me is from China and goes here regularly.
This is literally the best Chinese restaurant on the entire planet.
I’ve been getting the lunch special, Shrimp & Brocolli or Chicken & Brocolli with no sauce for years. All of a sudden, no sauce means no lunch special so $14 jumps to $21 because I didn’t want sauce. Makes little sense. I asked again multiple times. They said no. Too bad but every other Chinese restaurant does not charge extra for no sauce…..
Wonderful place and excellent food 👌
Writing this review as the quality of the food has gone down for a few items since the last time we visited
There are still a few dishes, which have like good quality like their fried rice specials, pork dumplings and noodle dishes, like lo mein, etc.
However, the spring roll was uneatable both the vegetarian and the shrimp one was not cooked properly
Did not enjoy the Dan Dan noodles
The bao buns were OK - could have been better
Mapu tofu was good , chicken fried rice was good, the chicken and lettuce wraps was good
Attaching a few pictures of the same
Old dated decor is offset by friendly efficient service and delicious old style traditional Szechuan food.
The higher prices here are justified. Best Chinese food in NJ and not just their szechuan specialties. Even their non-spicy foods like their appetizers are top tier. Their Chef is highly revered. That said we only eat here once a year when 15 years ago we did once a week… Chinese food is just too expensive now. Our to-go bill was over $200.
Besides their most popular dishes i also liked these:
-5 appetizer platter with: five spice beef, spicy beef tripe, cold shrimp appetizer, jellyfish
-fruity jumbo shrimp(for the kids)
-tower gourd
-La Zi Ji (spicy chicken on the hidden menu. But i think its hidden because they use non-FDA approved ingredients. That’s why its addicting like drugs)
The food presentation is a step ahead; 5 appetizer platter and “Dao Xie” are visual pleasers. Store Manager is very hospitable. They even helped me carry my to-go order to my car.

Just wonderful, perfect execution, amazing service
We have been eating at this restaurant since we moved to NJ nearly 20 years ago. It offers authentic Sichuan dishes and interesting ingredients. Very friendly and courteous service. Master chef Lu is the best!
Decent spicy beef noodle soup. Good surprise to have complementary orange after lunch!
I wouldn't recommend it. The dumplings are store bought not handmade. The wonton soup was really bland and they don't have crispy noodles to improve the flavor of the soup either. The wait service didn't seem to care much and the lo mein noodles were a little on the hard side. The lone positive was the shrimp toast was flavorful with some soy sauce.

Came here for the first time and loved it. the service was INCREDIBLE. Server recommended Diced Chicken Sauteed w. Three Types of Pepper. It was amazing. cooked perfectly! This is a dry fried dish with a spicy dry rub that is well balanced and not over powering. The pepper blend pairs well with the flavors
