Firehouse Subs Plaza at Columbia Turnpike

All firehouse subs are not what they used to be anymore.Before Covid, you got a good sandwich with tons of hot sauce items at a higher price point than I could get almost anywhere else. But still not bad for the experience.Now.... The quality has gone significantly down, no hot sauces (for obvious reasons.....I get it) and an even more expensive sandwich!I am sorry firehouse....you lost me as a customer. The experience doesn't justify the cost.

Never open when it says the are. Call before going each time.

Google says they are open Sunday till 8 and I just tried for 30 minutes to order to discover they are closed. Very upset about that.

Amazing sandwiches. Firehouse subs has amazing hot sauces as well. Food is hot and really tasty. Keep ordering from them

I really want to give this place a 5 star. In and out of the store was clean. What put me off was the service. I was all happy walking into the store, said "Hello" to the guy in front only to be met with a frown. No greeting from him or what so ever. A few minutes later, three guys walked in, said "hello" to the same guy and he was happy to be off service.I don't want to make this a race thing! However, I didn't feel welcomed at this place.

I think you probably deserve a higher review. I'm giving you 3 stars for a few reasons none of which I really blame the employee for. There was 1 man manning the ENTIRE restaraunt. He didnt do too bad. My coworker ordered a sandwich around lunchtime and said it was amazing, one of the best he'd ever had. I decided to try out this location and was pleased you have gluten free bread. My sandwich was missing ingredients and my friends was co completely bare. Just dry meat. None of the toppings or other food was in there. We didnt call the store to complain because, again he was the only person trying to run the entire building. I added some stuff when I got home and its still good. The gluten free bread is great which is rare. (Jersey Mike's gluten free bread is TERRIBLE) This guy needs help, and a raise.BUT if that man is the owner of the business, I commend him for allowing his employees to stay safe wih their families and holding down the fort for them. I know most owners wouldn't do that. Please let me know what is true, so that I might update my rating.

Food tasted horrible and they messed up our order

The service is regularly fast, great atmosphere, super nice staff members. I will come back again when I am nearby.

Love this place! Been there twice with my 5 y.o. and he always finishes his chicken sub to the last crumb, lettuce, tomatoes and all. Today he even asked for second helping )) And he is usually picky. And I really enjoyed my “Smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket”, was just melting in my mouth. We come around midday and it’s never crowded, very relaxed.

Friendly service, good subs, no wait and rarely crowded.

Never a bad experience. A filling sub and the owner always treat you with respect.
