I've been to the restaurant several times. Overall the food is good and they accommodated my gluten free allergy without an issue.

Beware!! Incorrect hours posted on their Google listing. Call them before wasting your time driving over from far away.

We always have a great time at Kyoto. The portions are enormous, so be prepared to bring some home. I am a hibachi lover, so this place always fits the bill. Steak, or shrimp. I haven't gotten past that part of the menu yet.

Alert to the public. If you have a food allergy - I strongly recommend that you do not visit this restaurant. They will KILL you. All staff informed of 5 members of the family with allergies to sea food. Easy enough to cook the seafood at the end when the others with allergies are served. Chef contaminated all food and thought that by putting a pan over the seafood the rest of the order would be unaffected. TO THE POINT HE ARGUED WITH MY FAMILY. Four children in the party brought to tears as he argued with us and let the rest of the food BURN. They wanted to remake the order in "the back" - but anyone with a significant allergy understands it needs to be prepared in front of you. They offered to cook the meal again - but we would have had to wait 30 minutes to see IF a chef was available. Please- if you have a food allergy DO NOT go here. Registered nurse of 40 years - dealing with food allergies 58 years - it is not a safe place. Enter at own risk - you were informed!Dietary restrictions: Have no respect for food allergies. Do not go if you have allergies.

Before ordering - made waitress and chef aware of food allergies. All agreed to cook seafood at the end of the order. They have No understanding of food allergies. You will put your self at risk if you have an allergy. When chef contaminated food - argued with 9 person party (5 of who have same allergy) that it was OK to cook on same surface in spite of multiple request to have sea food prepared for party members at the end of the order. 5 of the 9 could not eat the food. This $ 300 plus order was destroyed - and they still wanted us to take it. NOT A CHANCE. The chef and staff verbally abused the group - causing the children to CRY!!! After the long wait to get the first attempt at correct order - they said it would be an additional 20 minutes before they could send another chef to recook - and they were unwilling to do that. They put our safety at risk, they insulted my family, and they expected full payment of the bill. This "new" chef did not speak English and was barely interactive with the group - until we refused to eat contaminated food. Then he was very verbal - not in english. Please if you have food allergies do - go someplace that can accommodate you.

Our kid loves coming here for the hibachi and the food is very good! Chefs are fun and it's nice that you can also order a la carte sushi and other entrees. The family seated next to us enjoyed their meal as well.

Extremely RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. I made a reservation for a large party (more than 10 people) one week in advance. I was NEVER told there was a 90 minute table limit on the phone, nor upon arrival. The hibachi chef was rude, he made a few comments such as "be quiet" in a harsh tone, shortly after he arrived & when he didn't even start to cook. We were celebrating my birthday, as well as my fiancé & I's engagement. 13 people were celebrating, of course we were talking??? No one was shouting or being loud, we were all adults over the age of 25.After dinner, the hostess asked if we were ready for the cake (I brought a cake, which I stated on the phone when I made the reservation). We all said yes, we were ready. The hostess brings out the cake, everyone took pictures, sang, & I blew out the candles. The hostess bring out TINY plates, a knife & says I have to cut the cake myself. I was confused, I had been to hibachi places before for my birthday, the staff always cut the cake.About two minutes later, while I am in the MIDDLE of cutting the FIRST slice of cake, a man comes over, who we presume is the manager. He tells us, in a HARSH tone, "you have 5 minutes to eat the cake." My group & I were shocked, & I asked him why do we have 5 minutes, we have a reservation & the staff knew we had a cake to cut for THIRTEEN people. The man says, "you have to leave, there is a limit for 90 minutes." This information was NEVER ADDRESSED TO US.The man then brings the checks & MULTIPLE SMALL TAKEOUT pans for the cake. I had to ask FOUR times for the man to please bring out the big box that I brought my cake in.My group & I were VERY DISAPPOINTED by the DISRESPECTFUL service. None of us will ever dine at Kyoto again.

Well, I have to say that my dining experience at this restaurant was a complete disappointment. I came here to celebrate a family member's birthday and it was ruined by the service. It all started when the chef arrived and we were rudely told to stop talking to each other. The worst part? The host bluntly rushed us to leave before we even had a chance to finish our meal. We were only there for a little bit over an hour.Despite never stating that there was a time limit on our reservation, the server brought out the cake we had with us to celebrate, and the host came over to us and bluntly told us that we only had 5 minutes to eat it "Because we are sitting for too long." We actually had to pack the cake back up and take it somewhere else to eat.All of that and a fixed percentage tip was forced into our bill. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone who actually wants to sit down and enjoy the company they are with.

Went for a birthday celebration. Had a reservation. We were seated immediately. All down hill from there. Also had waitress come to take our order within 2 minutes. Definitely got rushed through everything from ordering to eating.. Food was terrible. Over cooked and over priced. Chef raced thru cooking. They started taking our plates even though we werent finished. Had to tell them to stop. Then after we were done the owner came and asked us to move to the front. There were six of us. We were seated and finished in an hour and asked to move to the front twice. We used to love coming here but NEVER again. Really went down hill. So incredibly rude. There were 3 people waiting when we left. We spent a lot of money and were celebrating birthdays. Have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant.
