My wife and I used to occasionally stop in at Zizza's for lunch when we both worked in the area, but today was my first time back in quite a few years. The interior hasn't changed at all. You order your sandwich at the counter and there are plenty of tables to sit at. For bakery items, there wasn't as much as there used to be. Plenty of cookies, bread, and some turnovers, but that was it in the bakery case today. I decided to get a hot pastrami sandwich on rye. The sandwich was good, no complaints. I'm not sure when I'll be back around here, but if I do, I hope there's more bakery items to choose from!

Decent sandwich but the $7 cookie was stale, tasteless and disgusting. Most of the baked good display cases were empty and what was there, looked pretty bad and super old. This place is advertised as a Deli/Bakery, but clearly the bakery operation is severely suffering from lack of attention. Bit of advice to the owner. Don’t sell me a product that you know isn’t a product of your best efforts. Had you stopped at just the sandwich, I would have given you 4 stars.3 stars, I probably won’t return since experience tells me that the poor state of the storefront is most likely the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what’s happening behind the scenes?

I ordered a quick egg sandwich, since my time was limited. The place was immaculate, fast and delicious. Would definitely return, to check out the bakery too.

Zizzas has the best sandwiches and hot food in the FP area. They bake all of their bread in house every morning. You feel like you are walking into Italy in a way, everyone so friendly, and the food is amazing. If you need catering, highly recommend.

I ordered a number 25 grilled chicken sandwich. This is the description. Sun dried tomatoes, bacon, roasted red peppers and broccoli rabe. I got bread with chicken, NOTHING else. Would never order again.

Purchased a platter of sandwiches and salads for a friend. They loved them. Thank you for your prompt delivery!

Working on the ambulance and wanted something relatively healthy for breakfast as well as a good price. Saw Zizza Bakery/Deli and went over. Very friendly staff. I ordered a custom egg white omelette with broccoli rabe, spinach and Swiss cheese. Came with toast and got coffee alongside. To go. No problem ordering and everything I asked for was confirmed by staff prior to cooking up. Everything was very very good. My decently sized omelette was really delicious and my coffee made by staff was just how I liked it. Pricing is on par with the area and that's something I definitely appreciate. I'd recommend Zizza for their service, care, omelettes and the overall experience. They also have an assortment of breads from all over the world, everything made in-house. Hot/cold sandwiches, subs, bagels and catering as well!

Awful sandwich! Been going there for years for an Italian sub. The woman who waited on me seemed to resent having to make the sandwich. She asked a young guy and he was busy with a larger order. She started by putting mayonaise on an Italian sub? PLEASEEEE! Then I tried telling her what I wanted on the sandwich and she kept saying I know and didn't want to listen to me. She didn't put the oil and vinegar on the side, put salt, and pepper which I didn't want and then slammed my change on the counter. When I got home, the sandwich was AWFUL! Brown, wilted lettuce, soaked in something, maybe oil? Had to toss out. They obviously HATE being in business, so they should close their doors and stop stealing peoples money on food that is not edible and service that is totally unacceptable!

I stopped in on Saturday for a buttered Portuguese roll - and they are the absolute best! That's what got them 4 stars. Unfortunately, they lost all of those stars for my other purchase. I saw what looked like fresh sausage breads, so I got one. (They looked fresh, because there were about half a dozen out, and it was early Saturday morning. They were in a case, and stacked, so I didn't really see them up close. About an hour later, I took the sausage bread out of the bag, and tried to cut it. It started crumbling, and I could barely get a knife through it. That's when I realized how over-cooked it was. The dark brown of the top was nothing - the entire bottom was burnt. We tried breaking off a piece to taste, and it was INEDIBLE. I mean it was burnt and hard. The small piece we actually tasted only had sausage crumbs - and it was so dry, we just tossed the whole thing out. What a supreme waste of $5. This sausage bread garners zero stars. I'll still come here, but ONLY for the Portuguese rolls.

Just picked up a cold cut sandwich and I totally regret it. So bland, tasted awful, I had to toss it after the first bite.

Great local bakery with a very friendly owner. We've been buying their whole wheat panella every week on Tuesday for years. Our go to place for sandwiches too. Try the Zizza special for a delicious, oversized Italian sandwich treat.
