Food was great and our server Kelsey was great! She even came back to thank us for the generous gratuity that we left her 😊
We will back!

We went for a family event with a large party. The waitress was very attentive and did an excellent job. It didn't hurt that the food was also excellent. Overall, a great dining experience.

Don’t start a tab here. I’ve had a pending charge being held for a week now, while my actual charge for the bill was completed days ago.

We ordered a sushi role and they brought it out in a plastic takeaway box..... Very disrespectful, as if they want us to hurry up and get out. If you are going to sell overpriced, mid tier sushi, at least present it well on a plate. They also really skimped on the calamari potion size.

The band was great, as well as the view.

The Waterfront (Lacey Township NJ)

If you grew up at the Jersey Shore, chances are you have a favorite local drunk. These local gems have many things in common. Sunburnt skin, flip flops, long toe nails, a beautiful big boat, two ex-wives, and a great fake smile. Whoever your favorite local drunk is, he loves @thewaterfrontnj

This place is filled with retired wealthy folk looking to buy a pretty 20 year old girl her favorite shot. In addition to that, they have great food. The Tennessee Chicken Wrap has the balance that so many don't. The sauce is sweet and tangy and the ratio of chicken to the rest is excellent. This wrap would hit way above its weight class if it wasn't for the chips. I've said it before and I'll said it again, chips are un-American. Put some fires with this guy and you have a 10 hour flex detail for 2 hours of your time. A dream some would say.

I've been to this joint a few times. Never had a bad meal.

This wrap was paired with a delicious IPA from @shipbottom. The shack is a local legend and a part of many childhoods across the state. The flavors do not disappoint and the shack would be proud of this brew. If you are in the area and don't swing by Ship Bottom Brewery, you are doing yourself a disservice.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose The Waterfront for Lacey Township (aka Forked River), our 107th town. Located on the Forked River, it was rated by the Asbury Park Press as a top "dock & dine" location. We don't own a boat, so we just dined, but we did see plenty of boats by the docks.

If you're looking for a fun night out along the shore without trekking over to one of the island towns, The Waterfront (ironically on the mainland) is a fun place to be. They have indoor and outdoor dining with live music. We dined outside on the deck during sunset on a summer weeknight when it wasn't super crowded.

We kicked off by enjoying dockside cocktails, with $4 Margaritas & a VooDoo (rum) Bucket. Next, we had the Lobster bisque and shared some apps. The Eggplant Napoleon & General Tso's Cauliflower were superb vegetarian options (even though neither of us is vegetarian). Finally, had the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich with crab meat as a topping. YUM!

Town Trivia: Forked River is a "census designated place" (CDP) within Lacey Township. Like many other CDPs in Jersey, Forked River is NOT its own town. Yet many people refer to most of Lacey Township as "Forked River, NJ".

Tip: The locals pronounce it "Fork-ED River". Calling it "Forkt River" let's the locals know you're a benny. ;)

If you come here see if Tommy can be your server, he was a fantastic server, knew the menu well, and he told us all about the many areas you could dine at this restaurant.

Currently on Thursdays they have a pasta night served buffet style, where you can put add ons to your pasta dish.

Tommy was great, my husband wanted a half dozen raw clams, they were not in the menu and he got them for us. The food was really good my drunk.clam appetizer was a bit salty.

i loved that the manager stopped by to ask us about our experience. We told him what a good job Tommy did, and I asked if we can ask for less salt on a meal when we place an order he said we could. We had a bit of a wait to be seated, the bartender was eating at the counter, this was the only negative experience we had.

Overall it's a very nice restaurant we enjoyed our experience.

The potions are big we took half of it home a long with dessert. There is plenty of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible and they have an elevator.
