I ordered boneless chicken, and it was the worst quality chicken I’ve ever had.
It was even worse than frozen chicken.
I will never order from here again.

EDIT: Confused the korean bbq flavor for yangnyeom before. Love the yangnyeom flavor for wings. Personally I recommend it over their Korean bbq flavor. Crunch, texture, flavor, everything is perfect about their wings.

This place is like heaven, the consistency is just spoiling honestly haha and thank you guys so much for that. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, very fast and fresh tasting food and delivery. I keep wanting to explore the menu, but I always forget. Looking forward to that when I don’t get distracted by the sweet golden smell.

bulgogi fries were THE MOMENT. so yum. we shared family style so it was pretty cheap and also filled us up! soy garlic wings were great, they had a really good crunch to it. the hot flavor was meh. corn cheese was also good but let’s be real the bulgogi fries really did it for me

Just tonight, 06/20/25, I ordered food for me and my dad. I got two orders of 10 strips and two orders of fries. I went and picked it up, only to realise when I got home that there was something sticky on the bottom. So, I took it off thinking it’s tack underneath the container to keep it from shifting. But it still seemed suspicious to me so I smelled it and it smelled like grape. Instantly I knew that it was someone’s chewed up gum and I could see bite marks in it.
I immediately called the restaurant to complain about it and I was dismissed by the lady, Rebecca, and she wanted for me to show her. So, I packed the food back into the bag and brought it to the restaurant. I live in Hackensack, but I like the way this Bonchon makes their food, so I was willing to do the drive. But having to go back because your food had chewed up gum near it is annoying. When I got to the restaurant with the food, I showed Rebecca the gum in a paper towel. She dismissed me and told me it’s not possible, that the people in the kitchen have bad teeth so they couldn’t have chewed the gum. That she’s always in and out of the kitchen so she “knows” they’re not doing that. But you wouldn’t know something like that unless you’re inspecting people’s mouths every time you’re in and out of the kitchen. So, that makes no sense to me.
She offered that I go back into the kitchen for her to show me that nobody is chewing gum. I said no and that it’s pointless, that it makes no sense for me to do that. I got refunded for the food, I handed the food back to the restaurant, I didn’t want it remade or anything as my appetite was lost. I understand that mistakes happen and I’m more than willing to let it be remade, but when I’m being dismissed and basically being called a liar, I just want a refund and to return the food.
It’s very disappointing because I’ve come here for years before BonChon started popping up in other spots. To me they make it the best. But now I guess I’ll just have to go to the other BonChon restaurants if I want it. I don’t appreciate being so dismissed as a customer.

The epitome of Korean Comfort Food in the metro area. The chicken sandwich alone tops any
Food akin to it that I have ever tried in my lifetime. After a 15 minute wait, you enter the gates of heaven. The beautifully crafted fries indulge you a taste adventure rife with rivers of salivation. The chicken sandwich fills your body with fatty energy, grabbing you in every time you try and pull away from its majesty. And after all of your journeying. It puts you to rest better than any melatonin you can consume. I love Bonchon.

The garlic soy sauce sauce was really tasty. In particular, the Cheese Bulgogi tteokbokki was just as tasty as the one I had during my trip to Korea, and the portions were generous.
