Delicious Brûlée matcha and soufflé ❤️
Nice atmosphere inside, but it gets crowded really fast. Matcha cream was amazing and the matcha cake was huge, enough for 2 people

Such an amazing environment! I came looking for Dubai Chocolate Cookies (dujjonku) and found a haven for snacks and desserts!

A charming little house with lanterns in the garden and wooden steps leading up to beautiful wooden doors, the exterior is absolutely inviting and picturesque.
When we walked in, it was packed and very loud. We ordered a strawberry matcha and a latte to go. Surprisingly, the order was ready within a minute. However, when they called my name, it was extremely loud, and I couldn’t even get to the counter because people were crowding the space and trying to leave, it felt like a traffic jam inside. They called my name again just as loudly.
As for the drinks, the strawberry matcha was overwhelmingly sweet, it tasted like it had at least five spoonfuls of sugar. We just eded up throwing it. The latte was okay, nothing special.
After reading some mixed reviews about the desserts, I’m honestly glad we decided to skip them.

This was my second visit to Cheongsudang, and it was just as amazing as the first time. The food is absolutely delicious, and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again.
My husband is a total foodie with high standards, and he said the Dubai Chewy Cookie here is the best he’s ever had 😂
We went around 1 PM today and it wasn’t crowded at all, which made the experience even better. The Saturday before last was pretty busy, and we felt a little rushed because of the crowd. But today we were able to relax and truly enjoy everything at our own pace. Highly recommend!

I’m glad I went to visit this cafe; the pictures were welcoming and when I arrived I got the same sense. It is not a big location so it is cozy but has free parking space which is a plus. The food and coffee was very good and reasonably priced. Lucky I went in the morning but I can definitely see how this spot might be packed at night.

Finally checked out Cheongsu in Fort Lee for a weekend date.
The Korean Special weekday set is a really good deal. It comes with tea and a selection of pastries and traditional Korean sweets. Everything was beautifully plated. The berry jelly dessert was especially refreshing.
The Matcha Fromage looked like a piece of art. The outer shell isn’t edible, but the cake itself isn’t overly sweet and has a nice matcha flavor.
The Perilla Hoji Financier was actually my favorite — super fragrant and balanced. The Nuts Yakgwa was sweet and chewy with lots of crushed nuts on the outside.
We also got oat milk lattes (one hot, one iced) and both were surprisingly good.
Great spot for dates or afternoon coffee. I’d recommend going on a weekday for the special set and fewer crowds.

Waited 45 min for soufflé so we asked for a refund. They cancelled our order with the kitchen so I guess even after 45 min, my order wasn’t even started? Got 3 Madeline cookies and they were too sweet we only finished half of each. Matcha cream latte also overly sweet. Nice concept but terrible execution. They advertise brunch menu items and when you get there, none of the items are available. Less than half the menu is available. It’s not even sold out, they just don’t have it. Might be a good idea to take it off your menu so it’s not misleading. The place is not child friendly at all either. Besides the long wait times, the desserts and drinks don’t taste good. Why are customers waiting 45 min+ to get their food? They need to get it together.

Cheongsu was such a great experience! The matcha fromage was amazing, and the coffee was very good as well. The owner was incredibly kind and even treated us to a free strawberry soufflé on the house, which was a wonderful surprise. Great desserts, great drinks, and even better hospitality — highly recommend!
