This was a hidden gem! The staff were excellent and the food is in my top 2 sushi places ever!!! The knifework from the sushi chefs were teeming with so much precision, and I can just tell they're highly qualified. It's a shame I didn't but a raw option because I honestly believe they would've done it in front of me! The actual customer service made me feel as if I were royalty. They were so sweet and kind, and the atmosphere was incredible.
Now, onto the food, I bought a shrimp tempura roll and miso soup. The shrimp tempura rolls were the best tempura rolls I've EVER had. The deep umami was perfect, and when I accented it with the spicy mayo sauce, it had an EXPLOSION of flavor in my mouth from the savory flavor to the rich umami. The roe eggs were also a pleasant surprise to come across when I opened the bag, and when I tell you that the sushi had EXCELLENT picked garlic, I tell you, even the condiments were made well.
Finally, we have the miso soup. While I LOVE miso soup, I never end up finishing the soup until the next day, but this time, it was so good I did!!! The delicious flavor of the broth was VERY well crafted, while the seaweed and other condiments on the miso soup was delicious, the food was an incredible experience.
Finally, we have the actual atmosphere. It was a very quiet, calm, serene place, definitely a hidden gem. I was surprised to not see anyone else, but nevertheless, it was one of the most cleanest restaurants I've ever seen. If I could go back to the place again, I absolutely would. This is a gem I did not expect to find!

Hachi is one of the best sushi restaurants in Metropolitan area by its fish quality (& price). We loved the old chef who was always carrying a smile, gentle personality as an artist, presenting yummy sushi in front of us. The new chef is a gem, master again, bringing new dynamic to the counter, we would love to continue to visit regularly ❤️🔥🥰
We always have an amazing experience at this sushi spot. We’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh, delicious, and presented with great care. The sashimi is incredibly tender and just melts in your mouth. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and really knows their stuff—they make you feel welcome every time. One of the best perks is that it’s BYOB, and there’s a wine store conveniently right across the street. Just remember, they’re closed on Mondays. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving high-quality, authentic sushi. Can’t wait to come back again!
