Great hot dogs and burgers but they're known for their hot dogs. Very small place with limited seating. I ate in the car. Cash only. It's worth the long drive.

To say that I am so disgusted and furious over the treatment of my dear friend is an understatement. We planned a ladies lunch at the last hot dog restaurant on our list, Hiram's. My friend who has two legitimate service dogs went inside to order her food. She patiently waited at the counter only to be told the dogs can't stay. Again, service dogs not emotional support animals. It is against the law to refuse service animals. The woman at the counter then accused my friend of faking her disability. What kind of disgusting person would say such a thing? Even another customer told the establishment they were breaking the law. An altercation ensued and the police were called. Even the police told ownership that they were in violation of the ADA. I implore people to not frequent this establishment as they clearly do not care about disabled people. I would also like to add that both dogs were clearly shown to be service animals by the vests they were wearing. My friend is also the one who requested the police be called. And that I was also verbally berated by said owner whose response below is filled with untruths. The only people who made this uncomfortable was the owners and his wife. Look at other reviewers that also say how nasty she is. I spoke to the supervising police officer who clearly said the establishment was in violation of the ADA. Please do not be fooled by what their response to our reviews have been.

f there was a way to leave zero stars I would. I went in and placed my order. The woman taking it noticed my Service Dog and Service Dog in Training and then refused to fill the order I had just given her. She served the people who came in before and after me and then refused to serve me in the same manner. I was told not to pull the disability stuff and that nothing was wrong with me. My Service Dogs stood patiently waiting the entire time just as they are supposed to. I have had a need for a Service Dog for many years and have never been denied access to order food at a restaurant just like every other customer. I definitely don’t recommend this place, esp if you need to use disability related medical equipment!!

Decent cheeseburgers and hot dogs absent miscellaneous viscera or meat detritus. Very novel: I have never seen thinner slices of American cheese, ever. Literally 2 mm thick.
