This place is self service and your food comes out quick.

The portion is HUGE and the price is averaged priced! I couldnt finish my food. I got regular spicy for my dish and you can actually taste a little spice unlike other restaurants.

Will be back!

The food was good, but not amazing. The meat portion for the jjampong was very generous, which I liked. The flavor was a bit lacking, though. The beef kalguksu flavor was on the lighter side. The bulgogi was pretty good, also not a strong flavor. Those who like light flavors would enjoy. There is not much seating, and we had to serve ourselves with water, kimchi, and takeaway containers.

The food was a hit or miss. Beef stir fried noodle was extremely greasy with no flavor to speak of. The rib jjampon was salty; the rib had hardly any meat and barely no seafood. The abalone noodle, chicken kal kooksoo and LA galbi was good. The service was great and the place was very clean. I really liked that they have carts since I’m always nervous about the self service places with just trays when the menu involves piping hot soups.

I loved the Dallas location—great beef bones with plenty of meat. This NJ branch was the opposite: I paid almost $30 for a large bowl and mostly got bones, with very little meat and noodles. The broth was flat and lacked any seafood note I expected. For this price, it just isn’t worth it. Please standardize portions and improve the broth quality.

Do NOT tip.
I wish there was a sign.
You pick up all your own food with a cart. and even if you cleaned your own table with all things on one tray and was rush to leave with tip, they ask you to bring to the counter. There was 3 tables in total at the moment so they were NOT busy at all.
Food is ordinary. Very small portion. The noodle and rib are both very small portion. Noodle barely had any meat, and very little veggies, or even just udon.

We ordered the Beef Kooksoo, King Ribs Jjamppong, and LA Galbi. The beef kooks and king ribs jjamppong were both great noodle soups. The meat tasted great, and the additional toppings added additional flavor to the overall noodle soup. However, neither dish really stood out to me and the galbi was not very good either. I like that the restaurant has a kiosk to self-order, which reduces the pressure to tip a lot, making the prices here more efficient. Overall, this place is pretty decent but nothing special.

Checked this place out after hearing about it recently and it did not disappoint. Great service and food was delicious. BBQ beef was tender and the tofu soup was so flavorful. Will go back.

Finally checked this place out after about 2 years of hearing about it, and honestly, pretty disappointed.

We started with the Korean Bulgogi appetizer—it wasn’t terrible, but had a weird medicinal taste, almost like it was marinated in something to cover up a smell. I ordered the Stir-Fried Beef with Noodles, and it was the biggest letdown. The noodles and sauce didn’t mix well at all, and it tasted more like Korean jaeyuk with cheese and noodles randomly thrown in—not a combo I’d try again.

Others in my party had the King Ribs Jjamppong, Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup, and Seafood Kalguksu—everyone agreed they were pretty mid.

The whole setup is self-service—you order at a kiosk, pick up your food, and return your own plates. That’s fine, but seeing a tip option on the kiosk was kind of ehh considering there's no service.

Was excited to try this place, but overall it fell flat. Not planning on coming back.

I was shocked that there were no waiters but all a kiosk to take orders. Besides that, I ordered the Cold Kong-guksu since it was a hot day. For the price, the serving size was double the portion I normally see at other restaurants. The dish was flavorful as I did not have to add more salt and very refreshing to my mouth.

Noodles are maybe slightly above average. Beef noodle soup is decent but nothing earth shattering. Reminds me of some of the spicy miso soup I can get from Hannam mart.

The chicken noodle soup was good. Very authentic tasting.

Kimchi was average. Portions for everything are pretty average. In general I’d say the food is average in general.

Biggest drawback is the value. Almost $20 a bowl for pretty small portions and only slightly above average taste.

My family and I really loved this place, my kids loved the noodles and bulgogi beef. The staff was kind, the whole place include their bathroom is super clean. However, last time when we ordered the bulgogi beef, by the end of the dish, I bit into a piece of meat that had clearly gone bad — it tasted sour and spoiled. I was really disappointed….we didn’t go back since. I hope the owner can check with the kitchen every day to make sure the food is fresh prepared.
